WWE Raw Results: Biggest Winners, Losers and Moments from February 29
It is impossible to look back at the February 29 episode of WWE Raw and not recognize Dean Ambrose as the biggest winner of the broadcast.
The Lunatic Fringe wasted little time becoming the central figure of the broadcast. He interrupted Triple H's in-ring promo early and then competed in the main event against Alberto Del Rio. If that is not enough, he went toe-to-toe with The Game, which was a brief flurry of offense popping the crowd in ways that Roman Reigns has not been able to up until now.
The crowd loved the idea of Ambrose emerging as a legitimate challenger to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and it may force the company's hand in relation to the WrestleMania main events.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Even the beatdown that closed the show, with Triple H unloading on a beaten and battered Ambrose, generated considerable sympathy—not the cheers that accompanied the same assault on Reigns a week earlier.
Ambrose has been the better choice, at least based on the way fans react to him, for quite some time now. Whether his showing over the last two months is enough to get the company to shuffle its plans for the most important match of the year is the question.
The Lunatic Fringe was joined on the winning side of things by two Divas battling for a championship opportunity, as well as WWE's Billion Dollar Princess, who was hellbent on unleashing verbal venom at the brother she was reunited with on last week's show.
On the losing side is The Undertaker, a major star and drawing card relegated to two minutes of screen time and no solid explanation for why he would possibly want to face Shane McMahon at WrestleMania.
Winners: Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch

Monday night's broadcast featured a great example of why women's wrestling in NXT was so critically acclaimed. With the chance to face Charlotte for the Divas Championship at stake, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch set aside their budding acquaintanceship and waged war in a highly competitive match.
There was no Team B.A.D. involvement and no interference from Ric Flair. Instead, it was a wrestling match featuring two wrestlers that ended in controversial fashion, which helps create intrigue for the rematch.
The double-pin may be a repetitive finish considering Sami Zayn and Samoa Joe utilized the same finish in a match with similar stakes just a few weeks ago on NXT, but it worked here and leaves fans to wonder just how many matches they will have to sit through between Banks and Lynch before WWE announces the inevitable Triple Threat match.
The fact that they were given the time that they were, without the overbooked nonsense involving Flair and Charlotte at ringside, was a step in the right direction when it comes to bringing women's wrestling back to the forefront in WWE.
Loser: The Undertaker

For the last week, WWE hyped an appearance by The Undertaker. On the heels of the announcement that he would wage war against Shane McMahon at WrestleMania, most figured they would find out why he would be so willing to do the bidding of CEO Vince.
Instead, he entered the arena as he always does, then he vowed that Shane's blood is on Vince's hands come April 3.
That's right: The most enduring character in WWE history had no qualms about the company using him as a pawn in the McMahon family melodrama and instead vowed to end Shane on the biggest stage in wrestling.
But why?
Just like the announcement came from out of nowhere last week, Undertaker's sudden shift in character did as well.
Of course, there are ways to make this work, including invoking the Higher Power storyline from 17 years ago, but even that is a stretch.
It is so out of character for Undertaker that one has to wonder if WWE Creative is making this story up as it goes rather than having any real plan in place.
Winner: Stephanie McMahon

Stephanie McMahon is the most underrated heel in professional wrestling, as evidenced by her masterful promo Monday night on Raw.
The principal owner of WWE unleashed her frustrations on Shane, accurately noting how he abandoned the company and the family. She discussed the amount of time and sacrifice she put in to helping run WWE and how she will be damned if Shane is going to walk right back through the front door and assume control because he is a man.
It was such a convincing promo, with such good points about Shane and his lack of commitment to the company over the last seven years, that you almost wanted to agree with Stephanie. But then she wrapped up by verbally destroying the fans and tearing them down with simple insults, and the world was reminded of the fact that she was one of the most detestable characters on the show.
The work from the Billion Dollar Princess was so strong that one almost wonders why WWE didn't program Shane against Triple H in a Winner Takes All match, rather than a nonsensical feud with The Undertaker.
