Kyrie Irving Injury: Updates on Cavaliers Star's Ankle and Return
Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving was dealing with a sprained ankle, which caused him to miss one game. However, he is ready to return.

Irving's Playing Status
Tuesday, April 5
Chris Haynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer confirmed Irving is available to play on Tuesday against Milwaukee.
Haynes had previously reported Irving would go through shootaround before determining his status.
Irving's Health Vital to Cavaliers' Title Hopes
Irving's knack for getting to the rim and tremendous ball-handling skills leave him susceptible to physical punishment and plenty of wear on his legs due to the sharp cuts and crossovers he routinely pulls off.
During the NBA Finals, he fractured his kneecap and missed the start of the 2015-16 campaign while recovering from that injury. He is critical to the Cavs' championship hopes—the most important player besides LeBron James.
"Everything surrounding our team is just crazy to think that we're still in first place and we're still the team to beat, honestly," Irving said on Friday, per ESPN.com's Dave McMenamin. "Regardless of what anybody else says of what we need and what we don't need and what we need to get better at -- us, internally, we know that we have to improve on a lot of things, but we've just got to handle business as professionals and continue to get better."
Although Irving has youth on his side at age 24, staying healthy is a priority for both himself and the Cavaliers, given the franchise's championship aspirations.
