What's Next for Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar After WWE Fastlane 2016?
The predictable result of the main event at WWE Fastlane leaves both Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar in limbo in regards to their plans for WrestleMania 32.
With Roman Reigns advancing to face Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, where do The Lunatic Fringe and The Beast go from here?
For Ambrose, his options look limited. He comes out of the main event ending a week that has seen him drop the Intercontinental Championship and now be pinned by his long-term ally, Reigns.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
There's every possibility he could be thrown back into the mix with Kevin Owens, as Ambrose was never actually pinned in the match that saw him drop the belt on Raw last week.
Ambrose vs. Owens would make sense on a lot of levels. Ambrose is potentially the most over babyface WWE has on its books at the moment, and Owens is certainly the biggest heel.
They've had some great matches in the past, most notably the one at Royal Rumble, which is already a contender for Match of the Year.
As for Lesnar, many expected him to be thrown into a rivalry with Bray Wyatt, but that didn't come to fruition at Fastlane.
It seemed that if Wyatt would have interfered in the main event of Fastlane and cost Lesnar victory, it would have set things up perfectly for Brock vs. Bray.
That could still happen in the weeks to come, but it almost feels like WWE has missed its golden opportunity to strike in that particular scenario.
Lesnar could pick anyone to feud with and it would be entertaining, but are there any legitimate top stars in the company who are neither injured nor tied up with other plans?
There is one, and that's Dean Ambrose himself.
Ambrose vs. Lesnar has been teased a lot recently, and it's a match that makes sense. Lesnar can work as the destructive heel with Paul Heyman cutting some electrifying promos, with Ambrose's status as the company's most popular babyface getting an even bigger push in the process.
Ambrose vs. Heyman on the mic alone would be worth watching, but then you counter in the chemistry he and Lesnar have, and it looks a great fit.
Dean seems to have made Lesnar a bit of a target lately, and you almost wonder if the company were teasing a WrestleMania match all along by having Ambrose call Lesnar out on Raw recently.
It could be a blockbuster, and the build towards the match could be superb. The only issue is that with Lesnar looking so indestructible, it's hard to see how he can lose to Ambrose.
There would have to be controversy involved, but you almost feel that Ambrose could survive a loss to Lesnar, as the feud itself would give Dean enough momentum heading out of WrestleMania.
With the roster so depleted and so little happening elsewhere, perhaps the best plan for Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar is for them to do it all again, this time one-on-one.
