Wrestler Joey Ryan Proposes to Girlfriend Mid-Match, Then Goes for the Win

When both members of a couple are wrestlers, there is no better place to get engaged than in the ring.

Joey Ryan proved that with this slick proposal to his girlfriend, Laura James.

While in the ring with James in San Diego, Ryan caught his girlfriend by surprise by popping the question—in the middle of a match that had them going head-to-head. Even though they had apparently previously talked about marriage, it appears she didn't see this coming.

Of course, James said, "Yes!"

Don't forget that this happened during a match. Ryan certainly remembered that little tidbit, so when he saw an opportunity, he went for the win. But at least he had good reason to pull a fast one on his now-fiancee.
