Both Wales and Scotland will be seeking to secure their first win of the 2016 RBS Six Nations when they go head-to-head at the Principality Stadium on Saturday.
The Welsh played out a pulsating 16-16 draw with Ireland in their opener and will have been disappointed not to have taken maximum points from the contest. Meanwhile, the Scots were beaten on home soil by a narrow 9-15 margin against England and will be hoping to respond in Cardiff.
Here are the key viewing details for the contest and a closer look at both sides before what should be a entertaining tussle.

Wales Seeking to Kickstart Campaign

Wales head coach Warren Gatland would have been feeling bittersweet in the aftermath of his team’s draw in Dublin.
At 13-0 down in the early stages, the visitors probably would have been delighted to have emerged with a draw. The men in red rallied brilliantly to get the match back to 16-16, but, overall, you’d have to say they edged the contest.
As we can see courtesy of BBC Radio Wales, centre Jamie Roberts lamented an opportunity missed for his side:
While a draw at the home of the reigning champions is not the worst result to begin a tournament, it leaves the Welsh with very little margin for error in the weeks to come, especially with England and France getting off to winning starts as expected. So there will be some degree of tension in the air when Scotland come to town.
Here’s the XV selected by Gatland for this contest, a team that includes No. 10 Dan Biggar despite his injury scare against Ireland:
The visitors will be hoping to build on some of the encouraging signs showcased against England.
Although Scotland did eventually lose the contest, they will feel as though they could have taken the victory against their bitter rivals with a little more care in advanced areas and the eradication of rudimentary mistakes.

Former England captain Lewis Moody commented on Scotland’s profligacy when it comes to set pieces during the previous match:
That’s an area they need to improve dramatically at the Principality Stadium, when they’ll come under heavy pressure from a Welsh side that’ll be desperate to notch a victory.
On home soil, Wales are a pretty formidable opponent, and they also have a fine record against their Week 2 opponents, having last sampled defeat at Murrayfield in 2007.
As noted by the British & Irish Lions Twitter feed, even though they didn’t get the win against Ireland, the foundations are there for a strong tournament, especially in the work rate of Roberts and Taulupe Faletau:
Expect Wales to be too good here. Gatland’s men seemed slow out of the traps at the Aviva Stadium, but that’s natural at the beginning of a major tournament. After getting a brutal 80 minutes under their belt, they’ll be battle-hardened for the visit of Scotland, who will struggle to cope with the power and ingenuity the hosts possess.
If Scotland are to take anything from this one, they need to up their game in all areas from the England clash and be ruthless with any half-chances that come their way. It’s asking a lot, though, and at the moment, this group of players don’t seem to have it in them to go to the Principality Stadium and emerge victorious.
Prediction: Wales 31-15 Scotland
