Moss May Not Play Sunday
The New England Patriots face a possible nightmare this Sunday when they play the Atlanta Falcons. The nightmare? Tom Brady might be without his two top wide receivers, Randy Moss and Wes Welker. Both players are listed as questionable for the contest, what’s really troubling thou is Moss was a surprise addition to the list.
Moss missed today’s practice, which shouldn’t of been too concerning. As a veteran who practiced with no issues Wednesday and Thursday, you occasionally get that Friday off. Unfortunately for the Patriots and their fans this day off wasn’t just a random day off. He missed the practice because of a back injury.

Moss wasn’t available to the media after practice and shortly after that was added the teams’ injury report. Specifics of the injury were unknown, which is also a bit troubling. Hopefully for Moss and the Patriots it was just a tight back or some minor spasms.
Welker was supposed to practice on Friday but was held out again. He’s listed as questionable but there is hope that he’ll be ready to go Sunday, even with his banged up knee. When it comes to Wes, the veteran day off may of been more likely. Bill Belichick may not have wanted to risk further injury to Brady’s favorite weapon.
I’m thinking both players are going to play this weekend. In all honesty the Patriots need both of them to play.
I don’t see how the Patriots have any chance to beat the Falcons without Moss and Welker. If they have just one their chances increase drastically, but to play without both there just isn’t a chance.
Their offensive line has just played to poorly to allow a running game to get going. On top of that Joey Galloway becomes the teams top receiver, a player that has just no chemistry with Brady.
If you hear during the Sunday pregame shows that Moss and Welker won’t go you need to make a quick run over to Bodog Sportsbook and put some money on the Falcons before the line changes.
