Panthers vs. Broncos: Halftime, National Anthem Prop Bets for Super Bowl 50
The fun of betting during the Super Bowl is that prop bets aren't just limited to the action on the field. You can also make official bets on the musical performances before and during the game.
Coldplay will headline the halftime show with Beyonce and possibly others joining in, an attempt to generate interest from all fans regardless of their favorite genre of music. Whether you are looking forward to the performance or not, you can still have fun making side bets on timing, order of songs and a variety of other questions.
Meanwhile, you don't even have to wait until kickoff to make money if you bet on the timing of the national anthem. More information will become available as we get closer to Feb. 7, but here is an early look at info on betting the musical acts.

Not everyone was thrilled when Coldplay was announced as the lead act in the Super Bowl halftime show, but the band is certainly happy to be a part of the action.
"We are so excited and honored and thrilled to be playing the halftime show," lead singer Chris Martin said right away, per Ted Leopold of CNN. "It's going to be wonderful and hope we see you there."
If you aren't the biggest Coldplay fan, you can always wait for Beyonce to join in, where they will likely perform their latest duet, "Hymn for the Weekend." We don't know how long she will stay on stage, but it is certainly difficult to overshadow one of the biggest superstars in the music business.
However, the question isn't what Beyonce will do or what songs she will perform but instead what will come first from Coldplay. One of the biggest problems with many of the band's hits is that they are soft and slow, not much to get excited about in a short concert like this. However, "Viva La Vida" could be a nice alternative to kick off the action and get fans on their feet.
Then again, you never really know what is in store for a halftime show until it begins.
National Anthem

The singer for the national anthem at Super Bowl 50 has not yet been announced, but whoever it is will have a lot to live up to on Feb. 7. The last few years have featured some big-voiced female singers, from Broadway actress Idina Menzel to opera singer Renee Fleming to R&B artist Alicia Keys.
While there will be plenty out there judging whether the performance is "good," this is obviously too subjective to wager. Unless you are betting the possibility of missed words in "The Star-Spangled Banner," but that is usually a long-shot pick.
Instead, the most common bet is the length of the national anthem. According to Odds Shark, the last 10 singers took an average of one minute and 57 seconds from start to finish. The last three years have been even longer, with Keys going an impressive 2:35 and only Fleming barely getting under the two-minute mark.
Of course, it all depends on who actually kicks off the spectacle that is the Super Bowl. Maybe Twista can get up there and finish the whole thing in 15 seconds, shattering records and confusing the audience in the process.
No matter who actually sings, the only hope is that it is actually good; otherwise, the artist will never get a chance to live it down.
