The Cold War: Kaka Vs Cristiano?!
These days, we have been hearing a lot about a so called silent war or cold war going on between CR9 and the Brazilian maestro and today I have decided to narrow down all of this on-going discussion.
After Florentino Perez returned to real Madrid presidency in June, he was accompanied by a number of high class signings including the last Ballon D'or winners Cristiano Ronaldo & the so called as Kaka respectively. Both were stars in Manchester united and Ac Milan respectively, but the mostly discussed dilemma these days is who will hit the headlines more this year and become the star player of the Los Blancos??

Four games into La Liga in addition to one game played in the Champions League, Ronaldo has scored 1 goal(P.K.) against Deportivo, 1 goal against Espanyol, 2 goals(from free kicks) against FC Zurich, & 1 goal against Villareal adding up to a total of seven goals in 5 matches. However, the Brazilian star has only managed to find the back of the net only once from a penalty kick against Villareal. For most humble soccer viewers, CR9 would probably be their number one choice for becoming Real Madrid's new Hero!!
However, are goals the only way for hearing the fans chant a player's name in soccer? The answer is definitely No!! While for some conventional soccer fans only goals make them go out of their seats, yet many others enjoy spectacular passes and glimpses of magic. Although Kaka gelled quit well in the preseason and and beginning of the season, he wasn't able to find the back of the net many times unlike Ronaldo who was able not only to impress but also to amaze the world with his rainy goals. Kaka has continuously denied any pressure and assured that goals will flow smoothly very soon and that the team benefit is above all. These claims have been clearly witnessed on the pitch by his incredible assists. Soccer is a group game that doesn't only involve scoring goals but also making goals and setting them up to be a piece of cake for teammates and that's what Kaka excels at.
We cant say that there is no competition at all between the two Madridistas but this competition is a very healthy one that cant be described as a war at all. We all saw the way Ronaldo enthusiastically greeted Kaka for his first official goal against Villareal. Both players are true professionals that will put the teams benefit above their own and can make a perfect duo terrifying every defensive line if they blend together well. So please don't make of nothing a war just for the absurd purpose of filling out empty pages in magazines & newsletters!!
