Arsenal's Jack Wilshere Meets Great Ormond Street Patients, Plays Table Football
Jack Wilshere has joined the Evening Standard's Give to GOSH appeal by visiting children at London's Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The England and Arsenal midfielder met patients being treated for neurological conditions and played finger football with seven-year-old Chloe Evans.
"As soon as I became a dad I really knew what it felt like to love someone unconditionally," he told the Evening Standard. "You worry about your children constantly and you realise how precious they are. No one would want their child to be unwell so if I can help put a smile on their faces it's the least I can do."

The 24-year-old has yet to feature for club or country after fracturing his leg in pre-season. He said it was great to chat to the children about football.
"My son loves superheroes and if he thought a superhero would visit him it would make him happy," he said. "People love football so it’s great to see the kids' reactions. I like it when they ask me questions or give me stick; it's great to see their personalities."
