Juan Iturbe to Bournemouth: Latest Loan Details, Comments and Reaction
Juan Iturbe joined English Premier League side Bournemouth from Italian club Roma on Friday as part of a loan deal that could become a permanent move during the summer.
The Cherries confirmed the signing on their official website and noted they retain the option to keep the Argentinian winger for an undisclosed fee at season's end. He's already taken part in his first training session with the club on New Year's Day.
That said, he must still receive an FA endorsement and a European work permit to make the move official, according to the report.

Iturbe, 22, arrived to Stadio Olimpico surrounded by a considerable amount of hype after successful loan stints with River Plate and Verona while a member of Porto. He sports terrific pace and has flashed the propensity to make highlight-reel plays.
His raw talent hasn't translated into a consistent Serie A impact, however. He's netted just three goals in 39 league appearances with the club. Along with the lackluster production, he's also battled injuries at times since joining the Giallorossi in 2014.
The question now is if he was merely overhyped due to the occasional flashy play or whether he can still become the star Roma were hoping they acquired.
Iturbe should get ample opportunity to prove himself with Bournemouth. The club is hovering around the Premier League's relegation zone in 16th place through 19 matches and has been seeking some creative inspiration in the attacking third with just 22 goals scored.
His potential remains intriguing and, at 22, he's still got plenty of time to make the necessary strides. Perhaps moving into a situation where the pressure level shouldn't be nearly as high individually will allow him to find a comfort zone during the second half of the campaign.
