Thanks in part to the generosity of Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland, the Great Britain deaf women's football team will be taking part in the 2016 Deaf World Cup.
A crowdfunding campaign was set up by Great Britain Deaf Football, and Butland's £5,000 donation helped it reach its goal of £10,000.

Butland responded on Twitter by saying he wanted the team to have similar experiences to those he has had at major tournaments with England.
He has been a part of the England camp since 2012 and has made just three starts, but he is starting to put pressure on incumbent Joe Hart thanks to some impressive performances with the Potters.
The 2016 Deaf World Cup takes place between June 19 and July 2 in Italy.
