Manchester United Transfer News: Latest on David De Gea, Tyler Blackett Rumours
Real Madrid are reportedly set to renew their interest in Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea next summer.
According to the Daily Star's Jack Wilson, an unnamed source said: "Real Madrid will not attempt to sign David De Gea in the January window. But the club is proposed to sign him in the summer for next season."
As Wilson notes, the Spaniard came exceedingly close to moving to the Bernabeu last summer only for it to fall through at the last moment.

Shortly after, the 25-year-old signed a new four-year deal with the club to extend his stay at Old Trafford by three years. However, Real's renewed interest is hardly surprising given how eager they were to capture him before.
Further, as football writer Liam Canning notes, the Red Devils are seriously struggling, and that could influence any decision De Gea makes about his future:
Indeed, one can only imagine how much worse off United would have been this season if De Gea had gone, and with the club no longer the dominant force it was under Sir Alex Ferguson, the 'keeper may be tempted to jump ship.
United's struggles equally make predicting their transfer activity and players' futures more difficult, though. Per Canning, Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal could soon be out of a job:
The Dutchman did little to cool talk over his future when he indicated he could walk away from his post, per BBC Sport.
If he should resign or be sacked and then replaced by the summer, particularly with a manager of Jose Mourinho or Pep Guardiola's calibre, that could sway De Gea and any other want-away stars into staying.
Real will undoubtedly pursue him once again, but there will be a number of varying factors at play that will determine if De Gea is open to a move or not.

In January, the club could be set to recall youngster Tyler Blackett from Celtic, per the MailOnline's Simon Jones, who notes the club's defensive injury crisis could force them to terminate his loan spell early.
Jones reports the 21-year-old is comfortable both on the left and in the centre. Though he has made just seven appearances at a total of 442 minutes this season, he is more experienced than the likes of Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Guillermo Varela.
With Blackett perhaps set to earn more opportunities to play at Old Trafford than Celtic Park this season and United in need of defensive cover, it wouldn't be a surprise if he was brought back.
