WWE NXT Results: Biggest Winners, Losers and Moments from NXT TakeOver: London
In a week where WWE delivered a very good TLC pay-per-view and stunned its audience by booking a WWE World Heavyweight Championship switch on free television, there was a certain amount of pressure on NXT to once again deliver a spectacular two-hour live event special and continue the company's upward momentum.
Not only did it do that, but the brand blew the main roster's efforts at TLC out of the water with a show that featured stellar title matches, a Divas grudge match between Asuka and Emma that far exceeded expectations and a defining victory for Baron Corbin.
A molten-hot crowd with a penchant for singing to the Superstars they most appreciated only helped create an environment different from any other show presented this year.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Triple H and management at NXT deserve huge props for their consistently great productions, and the men and women who compete inside the squared circle have continuously delivered performances that are above and beyond anything the Superstars and Divas of WWE have been capable of in 2015.
For that reason, the biggest winner of TakeOver: London is the entire NXT brand and everyone associated with it. NXT's continued excellence provided fans with another example of driven performers putting together a show that everyone can be proud of.
Which individual stars stood out for all the right or wrong reasons, thus earning the status of either biggest winner or biggest loser?
Winner: Bayley
For anyone still stuck in the Stone Age, unable to accept the idea of a female wrestler being one of the faces of an entire promotion, look no further than Bayley. The NXT women's champion entered the arena on Wednesday night to one of the loudest pops of the night, then was the recipient of a serenade by fans who adore and appreciate her for her plucky underdog character as much as her in-ring work.
The connection the audience has with Bayley is unlike any other in the company.
Grown men and little girls alike wear the purple and yellow of the "I'm a Hugger" shirts and are incredibly vocal in their support of her. Everyone can associate with the underdog, which is why the match against Nia Jax at TakeOver worked so well.
Jax punished Bayley, beating her across the ring and appearing poised to unseat the lovable Diva. But the resilient young woman fought back and eventually latched on the guillotine choke and forced a submission out of the larger newcomer.
The match channeled the great battles between Sting and Vader, which saw the unstoppable force that was the heel absolutely pummel the popular babyface, sometimes beating him, other times falling to a fluky finish.
Bayley was not only one of the most popular stars on the roster, but she was undeniably one of the best wrestlers in the ring Wednesday night, pulling a great performance out of the inexperienced Nia Jax and delivering one of the best matches of the entire broadcast.
Loser: Apollo Crews
Crews was in what was one of the highest-profile matches of Wednesday's card, a grudge match with Baron Corbin, but more than any other star on the broadcast, the charismatic and athletic young star turned in a performance that can only be considered disappointing.
He and Corbin demonstrated little in the way of in-ring chemistry, and the result was a lackluster, though perfectly fine, wrestling match.
On a night when Crews needed to step up and establish himself as a potential main event star, what with Sami Zayn poised to return and take his spot, he did not quite live up to expectations.
The result was the worst match of the night, though that is not quite as much of an indictment as it may sound like, and a key setback in Crews' development.
Winner: Emma
Between the comedic character that fans betrayed and a failed main roster run, there was plenty of reason for Emma to be disappointed about her career. Rather than moping around, though, she used her anger and frustration to fuel a new heel character that has been excellent to this point.
Wednesday night, she reminded fans of why she was once considered one of the most talented in-ring workers on the women's roster with a fantastic opening match against Asuka.
She was strong in her work, getting more offense in on Asuka than anyone else to this point, and sold the hell out of the Japanese star's furious strikes.
Emma lost the match, but it was a defining performance and one that should lead to her return to title contention in NXT.
