Chelsea Transfer News: Latest on Paul Pogba, Oscar and Juan Cuadrado Rumours
Chelsea and Juventus are reportedly set to meet in order to discuss the permanent transfer of on-loan winger Juan Cuadrado and a potential deal for Oscar, but Bianconeri star Paul Pogba is not up for debate and will be remaining in Turin until at least next summer.
According to Italian newspaper Tuttosport (h/t Football Italia) Juve are hoping to negotiate a lower buyout fee than the €20 million the clubs had settled on, while the Serie A champions are also interested in Oscar and could test the waters ahead of a "possible bid."
As for Pogba, he "will not be up for discussion in January as he is not a Blues target and is 100 per cent certain to stay at Juve over the winter."

The Frenchman is one of, if not the most coveted players in world football right now, so even if he's not actively a target for Chelsea, the Blues would without doubt leap at the chance to snap him up if given the opportunity.
If and when Pogba leaves Juventus, it won't be in a January transfer window, but don't be surprised if Chelsea are one of many top teams to pursue him in the summer.

Cuadrado appears completely rejuvenated by his loan spell in Turin after enduring a miserable time at Stamford Bridge following his arrival in January.
Football writer David Amoyal notes how the Colombian is making important contributions to the Bianconeri, and he did so again in a recent outing against Fiorentina, per writer and pundit James Horncastle:
Despite the Blues' current struggles, it seems as though he has little future at the club, so Juve are likely to succeed in making him a permanent signing.
However, if the clubs have "previously agreed" on his buyout fee, as the report notes, Chelsea have little incentive to hear Juve's proposal—particularly if they hope to sign Oscar as well.

Following the arrival of Pedro in the summer, the Brazilian's place in the starting lineup is no longer assured.
However, he is currently offering more than some of his team-mates while on the pitch and did so in the Blues' 2-0 win over Porto in the UEFA Champions League, according to Squawka's Oliver Young-Myles: "Aggressive and diligent in his defensive duties, dangerous on the counter-attack and intelligent with his final pass, the 24-year-old provided his side with the sort of performance that has been sadly lacking from his midfield counterpart Cesc Fabregas this term."
Though he doesn't always attract the same attention as Fabregas or Eden Hazard do when they're on form, Oscar is a useful and occasionally underrated player in Chelsea's squad, and he will likely continue to prove his worth to the team in the future.
Unless they can use him as makeweight in an attempt to buy Pogba in the summer, Chelsea would be wise to keep him.
