Champions League Draw 2015-16: Date, Seeds, Live Stream, TV Info for Round of 16

With the wheat now separated from the chaff, the time has come for Europe's elite to meet at the business end of the Champions League, and the 16 remaining sides wait to discover who they will face when the competition resumes in February.

There will of course be no place for Manchester United in Monday's draw, as they finished third in Group B, while Gent are the most surprising inclusion after finishing ahead of Valencia and Lyon in Group H.

Those who won their group will be seeded and as ever will face off against the runner-up of a different group, provided they aren't from the same nation.

Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are of course the three group winners every team is hoping to avoid above all else.

With the likes of Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and last season's finalists Juventus among the runners-up, there's great potential for some mouthwatering ties as early as the next round.

Bleacher Report's own Dean Jones, Sam Tighe and Marcus Speller highlighted the Gunners and the Serie A Champions as two of the biggest teams to avoid for the top clubs:

Arsenal scraped through to knockout stages the hard way after suffering shock defeats to Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiakos in their opening two games.

The Gunners have struggled to make an impact in the knockout stages of the Champions League in recent seasons—indeed, they have exited the competition in the round of 16 five years in a row. They were also humiliated by Bayern Munich 5-1 at the Allianz Arena in the group stage earlier this season—a worrying sign of what could potentially happen in the knockout stages against similar opposition.

The likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid would be wise to employ caution if they do draw Arsenal, though, as they also have the blueprint to overcome a superior side, having beaten Bayern 2-0 at home.

Further, they boast two of the group stages' top performers in Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez, per the tournament's official Twitter feed:

Along with Mesut Ozil, the Gunners have plenty of firepower to threaten any side, and if they can get the likes of Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere back to form and fitness by February, they'll be a daunting prospect indeed.

As for Juve, last season's exploits have given their players great experience of the knockout stages, and with just three goals conceded in six group games, they're one of the most solid teams still in the competition and not easily beaten by anyone over two legs.

Though they're among the bigger sides to finish among the runners-up, one team the group winners would likely welcome in the draw is Roma.

The Giallorossi qualified behind Barcelona in Group E with just six points—staggering to imagine when just two years ago their Serie A rivals, Napoli, exited on 12.

Roma conceded a whopping 16 goals in their six games, and they have kept just three clean sheets in all competitions this season, so it's unlikely they'll cause too many problems for anyone who won their group.

As phenomenal as they were to qualify from their group, the other team everyone will be hoping for is Gent.

The Belgians fully deserve their place and picked up 10 points off Zenit St Petersburg, Valencia and Lyon, but the minnows' inexperience will likely be their downfall.

Further, only one team scored fewer than their total of eight goals. Juventus—who scored only six—not only faced a tougher group but boast the likes of Paulo Dybala, Alvaro Morata and Mario Mandzukic up front, so when they click into gear, the Bianconeri can be a powerful attacking force.

The same array of prolific options isn't available to Gent, so they'll face a difficult task in troubling the goals of any of their seven possible opponents.

Provided they can avoid complacency, whichever team draws Gent should be sailing through to the next round.
