WWE TLC 2015: Date, Start Time, Matches, Live Stream, PPV Info
With the help of the chaos and carnage that comes with bent ladders and broken tables, WWE TLC 2015 looks to emphatically close out a year that has been disenchanting in recent months.
Roman Reigns has a shot to again grab hold of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship after being champ for just five minutes and 15 seconds at Survivor Series. The Wyatt Family will take on a quartet of ECW standouts. The New Day will fight off two sets of challengers, having to battle among a cluster of ladders to do so.
The action begins on Sunday, Dec. 13, at 8 p.m. ET, as the TD Garden in Boston plays host to the final pay-per-view of 2015.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Will all the thrills of the gimmick matches be enough to make up for the lackluster storytelling leading up to them? Will WWE Creative rediscover its footing? Will the plodding rivalry between Reigns and Sheamus surprise the audience with something memorable?
Live Stream, PPV Info
WWE has not yet announced any information about the TLC pre-show.
Normally, these run for an hour before the event with a panel discussing the night's bouts and one early match filling up the rest of the time. Stardust and Titus O'Neil have started the kind of low-rung rivalry that usually gets tossed into the mix on the pre-show, so that may be the option WWE goes with.
As for TLC itself, fans can catch the three-hour show live on the WWE Network.
The service allows fans to instantly stream TLC on Apple TV, video game consoles, Amazon Fire TV and Roku. Fans can also watch the night's contests on their mobile devices via the subscription-based streaming service. For a full list of devices compatible with the WWE Network, visit WWE.com's help section.
The network is available in a number of countries, including, as of just recently, India. Germany is one of the few places that doesn't yet carry it. Check WWE.com for availability around the world.
Otherwise, fans can order the event through their local cable companies. Many providers have decided to drop WWE PPVs after the birth of the WWE Network, but places such as Xfinity and Suddenlink still offer the event.
This route will run fans around $45.
Match Card
- Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger (Chair match for United States Championship)
- The New Day vs. The Usos vs. The Lucha Dragons (Ladder match for Tag Team Championship)
- Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose (Intercontinental Championship)
- Charlotte vs. Paige (Divas Championship)
- The Wyatt Family vs. The Dudley Boyz, Rhyno and Tommy Dreamer (Tables match)
- Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns (TLC match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship)
Del Rio vs. Swagger
In a revisiting of a feud from WrestleMania 29, Del Rio tries to hold tight to the U.S. title. After returning to WWE in October with Swagger's old manager, Zeb Colter, at his side, the champ has since dropped him.
Del Rio has traded in his MexAmerica gimmick for a part in the heel faction The League of Nations.
Does that mean that Colter reunites with Swagger here? That's the most intriguing element of a match sure to be held back by its stipulation. The chair match doesn't exactly have a history of producing classics.
Tag Team Title Triple Threat
The New Day's energized, ridiculous shtick has been one of the best parts of WWE TV of late. The buildup to their latest title match, though, has been underwhelming.
This is a classic case of WWE cramming opponents into a gimmick match for the sake of the PPV's theme. This three-way feud doesn't feel close to ready for a ladder match.
With all the talent involved, though, there should be a number of jaw-dropping highlights. Kofi Kingston is impressively creative with a ladder at his disposal. Kalisto's high-flying style has him poised to do something special as well.
Owens vs. Ambrose
The WWE title tournament put this feud on pause. It has since resumed but hasn't yet gotten into high gear.
Owens has been masterful as a heel recently. Ambrose has put together a run of strong performances in the ring. Pitting them against each other has this promising to be one of the event's high points.
This is a feud that deserves to be high-profile, sitting just below the one surrounding the WWE title. How much time WWE gives this match at TLC will be telling if the company is set to do that or just make this midcard filler moving forward.
Charlotte vs. Paige
Muddied heel-face dynamics have hurt the build to this clash. Charlotte has been nasty and volatile, despite supposedly being the wrestler fans are supposed to root for here.
WWE has relied heavily on Charlotte's family name, having Paige insult Charlotte's late brother and the champ's father being a central figure to the story. Ric Flair is set to be in Charlotte's corner at TLC.
The women won't have the luxury of ladders and tables to help them add to their bouts, and so they will have to rely on traditional storytelling and their brewing animosity to steal the show in Boston.
Faction vs. Faction
ECW will be well-represented at the TD Garden. Rhyno and Dreamer have joined forces with The Dudley Boyz to take down The Wyatt Family.
Bray Wyatt and crew have youth and size on their side, but tables matches have long been The Dudley Boyz's forte. Bubba Ray and D-Von's less-than-stellar run has a great chance to hit a peak here. This is the kind of battle where the brothers do their best work.
This smells like it will be a way for The Wyatt Family to rebound after falling to Kane and Undertaker at Survivor Series.
Sheamus vs. Reigns
A rematch of the heartbreaker for Reigns at Survivor Series features a lot of moving parts.
In addition to Sheamus and Reigns' individual rivalry, WWE has expanded this into a clash between stables. The League of Nations are sure to be in Sheamus' corner. Reigns will have The Usos and Ambrose watching his back. Add tables, ladders and chairs to the mix, and WWE's booking options are plentiful.
Their rivalry has been a washout thus far. Will Reigns and Sheamus be able to prove WWE right for putting them in this spot? Will they energize a flaccid story? Or will TLC's main event be a microcosm of WWE's current creative struggles?
Those aren't the kind of questions WWE would like to be key to a marquee matchup, but that's what will be on many a mind amid the ladders and high risks at TLC.
