Neville Wants Vardy at Valencia
Sunday, Nov. 6
Less than a week after being appointed to the helm of La Liga giants Valencia, management newcomer Gary Neville wants to inject some Premier League flavour into the club by cutting a deal to sign Vardy next year.
That's according to Harry Pratt of the Daily Star, who reported Neville will look to beat former club Manchester United in a race to sign the £25 million-rated forward.

Neville has been handed the coaching reins at the Mestalla on a six-month deal, but it's reported part of his job is to identify transfer prospects in England for owner Peter Lim, who also has a 50 percent stake in Neville's co-owned Salford City.
Vardy recently broke Ruud van Nistelrooy's record for goals scored in consecutive Premier League matches after netting in 11 successive games, but he failed to bag in Saturday's 3-0 drubbing of Swansea City and saw his run come to an end.
The former Stocksbridge Park Steels striker has 14 goals in 15 Premier League outings this season and has emerged as one of Europe's most prolific scorers, but Leicester want to keep their player this winter.
Pratt stated Valencia are looking at a summer move for the player as Foxes manager Claudio Ranieri will block any January exit. He recently heaped huge praise on his front man, per the official Premier League Twitter account:
It's considerably rarer to see valued English players make the move abroad than it is to see foreign talents arrive in the Premier League, so Neville may have a tough fight luring Vardy away from his native land.
However, the former Sky Sports pundit does give Los Che an edge they didn't possess prior to his appointment, and he'll hope a familiar face may be the factor Valencia need to convince Vardy to complete a switch.
