Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
A new match was added to the TLC PPV this past week, and another was all but confirmed through two different segments. Here's a list of the confirmed matches, according to WWE.com:
- Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus (TLC match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship)
- The New Day vs. The Usos vs. The Lucha Dragons (ladder match for the WWE Tag Team Championships)
- Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose (WWE Intercontinental Championship match)
We can also expect to see a tables match between The Wyatt Family and the team of Tommy Dreamer and The Dudley Boyz.
Another possible addition could see Charlotte defend the Divas Championship against Becky Lynch and possibly one other Diva.
Lynch and Charlotte have had some issues lately, and we should see that storyline continue to flourish between now and the night of TLC.
This PPV is shaping up to be a show with a lot of potential. The Triple Threat ladder match should be worth the price of admission by itself.
Kevin Owens Sent Home Sick
"Yes, it's been a rough couple of days. Owen and I both got pretty sick but we're back home with Karina and Élodie now so we'll be ok.
— Kevin Owens (@FightOwensFight) December 2, 2015"
According to WrestleZone.com, Kevin Owens was sent home from this week's Raw taping due to an unspecified illness.
Owens should be back on the road this week, but whatever it is that put the IC champ down must have been pretty bad.
Wrestlers constantly work through injuries and illnesses, and for someone to be sent home by management means they looked too sick to appear on camera.
Owens is usually one to mess with fans on Twitter, but he showed appreciation to everyone who sent him well wishes through the social network.
"Thanks for everyone's concern and support.

Odds are good he will be back on Monday's Raw, so we should see his feud with Ambrose taken to the next level before they meet in a title match at TLC.
WWE Studios Forms New Partnership

It was confirmed on WWE.com this week that WWE Studios has formed a new partnership with CodeBlack Films, a Lionsgate company, to produce a number of movies in the coming years.
The first film has been announced as a project featuring Trey Songz called Brother's Blood, which is to be directed by John Pogue. It sounds like the kind of action movie WWE has been known to produce over the years.
WWE Studios President Michael Luisi had the following to say about the new venture:
"We look forward to working with Codeblack and expanding our tremendous relationship with Lionsgate. John Pogue and Trey Songz are exceptionally talented artists and the ideal creative team to shepherd our first co-production with Codeblack.
"
Hopefully having a major Hollywood entity such as Lionsgate in their corner will help WWE produce better movies than we have seen in the past.
The Rock named "Man of the Century"
It's a good time to be The Rock. He is one of the biggest box-office draws in Hollywood, he is nominated for a People's Choice Award and he was recently named the Muscle & Fitness Man of the Century.
This is a big deal for The Great One, as it puts him in a club more exclusive than the Chevaliers du Tastevin.
Between making hit movies, getting ready to welcome his first child with longtime girlfriend Lauren Hashian into the world and winning various awards, it's surprising Dwayne Johnson has any time left to sleep.
The Rock is unquestionably the most successful person to cross over from the world of wrestling to the business of making movies, and it doesn't look like he is planning on slowing down any time soon.
Randy Orton Possibly Sidelined Longer Than Expected
Ric Flair revealed on a recent episode of his WOOOOO! Nation podcast that Randy Orton may be out of action a lot longer than initially anticipated.
The original reason Orton took time off was because of a shoulder injury that required surgery to repair, but now it appears as if his neck may be an even bigger issue.
The Viper will be evaluated after his shoulder is fixed to see if he needs neck fusion surgery or if he can be repaired by a simpler procedure.
If he does require fusion surgery, he could end up on the shelf for up to a year. Neck injuries are no joke, and they have led to Superstars having to cut their careers short in the past, so Orton needs to do whatever the doctors tell him to make sure he can get back in the ring.
With Orton's signature RKO requiring him to land on his shoulder and neck every time he performs the move, it's not too surprising to see that it has taken a toll on him. Let's hope the situation isn't as bad as it appears and he isn't forced to retire from competition.
