Barcelona Transfer News: Luis Suarez Comments on Lionel Messi, Exit Rumours
Luis Suarez has committed himself to Barcelona, saying he would not leave the Camp Nou "for triple the money," and he also insisted that Lionel Messi is going nowhere.
Per the Sun (via Jack Wilson in the Daily Star), Barcelona could sell Suarez in order to raise some much-needed cash. Meanwhile, rumours have recently emerged that Messi may be open to a move away from the Catalan giants, and Manchester City are reportedly prepared to offer him a staggering £800,000-a-week deal, per Shaun Custis and Martin Lipton in the Sun.
However, Suarez has rejected any possibility of the Argentine leaving the Camp Nou and also strongly committed his own future to the club, where he is contracted until 2019, per Sky Sports' James Walker-Roberts:

"I can't see Messi leaving. He is happy, having a good time and his family is happy. Leo is pure natural talent. He is the best [in the] world and will remain so for a long time.
I wouldn't leave Barca for triple the money. It's impossible for me to leave in the coming years. I suffered a lot to get to this club, where I've always dreamed of playing. I want to play here, my family is happy and I know the city like the back of my hand.
I cannot guarantee that I will retire here, but I will be here for a long time.
"
Suarez, 28, joined Barcelona from Liverpool in July 2014, and in his first season at the Camp Nou, he won the La Liga title, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League.
Thus, it is unsurprising that he wants to stay with the Spanish giants. His attacking partnership with Messi and Neymar is simply devastating, and Luis Enrique's side could well claim another treble this season.
The trio's numbers are quite staggering and it is surely inconceivable to think that any of them would want to break up their union by departing the club, per the Champions League:
Certainly any talk of Messi leaving Barca—and the same spurious stories turn up intermittently—is seemingly fairly ludicrous. The 28-year-old has been at the club his entire career, and his prospects at Barca remain better than they would be anywhere else in the world.
The same is, of course, true for Suarez, and the Uruguayan has been in flying form this season. He is arguably even better now than he was in the 2014-15 campaign or at any time in his Liverpool days.
He has netted 12 times in 12 matches in La Liga (his tally for all of last season was 16), per WhoScored.com), and his and Neymar's heroics saw Barca move to the top of the La Liga table in Messi's recent injury-enforced absence.
The reigning European champions have continued their flying form from last term into 2015-16 and currently sit atop Bleacher Report's European club rankings, per lead football writer Sam Tighe:
With Suarez insistent that he and Messi will both remain, Barcelona are surely set to stay at the top of the European game for at least the next two seasons.
