Liverpool Transfer News: Denis Cheryshev, Ruben Neves, Lucas Biglia, Top Rumours
Liverpool will reportedly open negotiations with Real Madrid regarding a loan deal for Russian winger Denis Cheryshev, as manager Jurgen Klopp is keen to add to his attacking options and Los Blancos want to hand the player more opportunities to play.
Meanwhile, FC Porto starlet Ruben Neves has ruled out a transfer and rumours the Reds are the biggest suitors for Lazio star Lucas Biglia persist.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes (h/t Metro's Mark Brus), Liverpool and Real will sit down to discuss a move for Cheryshev in the coming weeks. The 24-year-old has barely featured for Los Blancos in 2015-16, making just two appearances as a substitute in La Liga so far, per WhoScored.com.

He impressed both times and recorded an assist in the 3-1 win over Celta Vigo, but given Real's wealth of options out wide, it hasn't led to an increase in minutes. And considering his obvious talent, another loan deal sounds like the next logical step.
Cheryshev looked more than solid with Villarreal last season, showing exactly why Real Madrid have been so eager to develop him the last couple of years. He has a nice burst of speed and superb athletic ability that go well with his dribbling skills.
WhoScored.com certainly likes what he brings to the table:
The forward has played far too little in the last couple of months to accurately predict exactly how big his impact at Anfield would be, but at the very least, he would provide valuable depth at a position the Reds are severely lacking.
Since Raheem Sterling's departure, Liverpool have been short on quality wingers, and while Cheryshev certainly doesn't have the Manchester City man's long-term potential, he could provide the drive the Reds lack out wide.
Star midfielder Neves won't be leaving Porto for Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea in January, expressing his pride at being called a club symbol by Porto's president.

Speaking to the club's official magazine (h/t Daily Mirror's Liam Corless), the teenager responded to president Pinto da Costa, who had previously told O Jogo a sale of the talented midfielder was out of the question.
Neves answered: "To hear the president say that he wants to make me a symbol of the club? It's fantastic. This made me feel very proud. I am under contract until June 2019 and, at the moment, I am only thinking about the club achieving its goals."
Neves has been one of the biggest breakout stars of the 2015-16 season, impressing in the UEFA Champions League against Chelsea and even assuming the role of Porto captain for a while, despite being just 18 years old, via PortuGOAL.net's Tom Kundert.
The youngster mainly plays as a holding midfielder but displays tremendous vision and passing ability, indicating he could become a top box-to-box option before long. Here's why so many top Premier League clubs are chasing him:
Porto are notoriously difficult to negotiate with in the transfer market and generally don't sell their prized assets until their value is at an all-time high. They moved the likes of James Rodriguez, Radamel Falcao and Hulk for massive transfer fees, and they will do the same with Neves.
In all likelihood, Neves won't be leaving his hometown club for the next two seasons, allowing him to continue his development in an environment he's familiar with.
Finally, Spanish outlet Don Balon (h/t Metro's Mark Brus) believes Liverpool are pushing hardest for Lazio star Biglia, although Atletico Madrid have emerged as potential suitors following Tiago Mendes' injury.

Tiago had to be carried off the pitch on a stretcher during Atletico's match against Espanyol, and without the Portuguese in their squad, the Spaniards have a gaping hole in midfield. Biglia would be the perfect replacement, given his success as a deep-lying midfielder in Italy.
The Argentina international joined Lazio from Anderlecht and has since grown into one of the top midfielders in Serie A, but he's expected to leave the Italian capital soon. He rejected a new contract in September, per Calciomercato (h/t Daily Express' Joe Short).
