Man City vs. Hull City: Team News, Predicted Lineups, Live Stream, TV Info
Manchester City host Hull City on Tuesday in the quarter-final of the Capital One Cup looking to move a step closer to reclaiming the trophy they won in 2014.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side go into the game having beaten Southampton 3-1 on Saturday, a result that ended a run of three games without a win.
The Capital One Cup was the first major trophy Pellegrini won as a manager in Europe, and it was quickly followed by a Premier League title. He will be desperate for a repeat this season.

Hull arrive in Manchester in an excellent run of form. They sit fourth in the Championship, with their defeat to Derby County on Friday their only loss in their last 14 games.
They’ve already knocked out Swansea City and Leicester City in this season’s competition and made it the FA Cup final in 2014.
Anyone who thinks this will be an easy game for City should probably think again. Steve Bruce’s side are no pushovers.

Predicted Formations
Manchester City
Pellegrini may use David Silva from the start. The Spaniard returned to the bench on Saturday and made a short cameo, so the City manager could choose to use this match to get him up to speed. Vincent Kompany, Pablo Zabaleta, Joe Hart, Eliaquim Mangala and Samir Nasri are all out.
Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Caballero; Sagna, Otamendi, Demichelis, Clichy; Fernando, Delph; Navas, Iheanacho, Silva; Bony.

Players To Watch
City: Kelechi Iheanacho
Is Kelechi Iheanacho being held back?
The 19-year-old Nigerian has impressed every time he has pulled on a City short this season, yet his chances have remained somewhat limited.
In the last round against Crystal Palace, he delivered his finest performance for the club, scoring a superb goal and creating a plethora of chances for his team-mates.
His technical quality, skill, vision, reading of the game and confidence mark him out as one of the best young talents in English football.
He will almost certainly start, and it wouldn't be a surprise if he turned out to be the the match-winner once more.

Hull: Abel Hernandez
Abel Hernandez, Hull's 6'1'' striker, is a handful. He's powerful and quick over the ground, and with City struggling for numbers at the back, he will fancy his chances of causing the Blues' back line some problems.
He joined Hull for £10 million last season, but he only managed four Premier League goals in 26 appearances.
This season, with Hull riding high in the Championship, he's scored seven in 14 in the league and is the Tigers' top scorer.
Against City last season, he won and scored a penalty in Hull's 4-2 home defeat. City struggled to deal with him that day, so they will need to be on their guard this time around.

Key Battle
Wilfried Bony vs. Curtis Davies
It's been a rollercoaster ride for Wilfried Bony since he arrived in England in 2013.
He joined Swansea from Dutch side Vitesse and scored 34 goals in 70 appearances. In the calendar year of 2014, he was the Premier League's top goalscorer. Considering his competition, it was a significant achievement.
A move to a top-four club always looked on the cards, and it was City who swooped first, signing him for around £25 million on a four-and-a-half year deal.
But injuries, illness, international duty and a switch in Pellegrini's formation have all conspired to hold him back. He's scored just six in 25 for the Blues.
His miss on Saturday was perhaps indicative of his lack of confidence. Kevin De Bruyne produced the pass of the game to give him a clear chance to wrap things up, but his first-time effort went well wide.
On Tuesday, Curtis Davies, the former West Brom and Aston Villa defender, will be paying close attention to him.
Davies is an experienced player, one who many feel is still capable of playing in the top flight.
Now is the time for Bony to shine.
