Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio reported Ulis will play tonight.
Ulis' Father Updates Son's Condition
Sunday, Nov. 29
"'X-rays were normal,' James Ulis said by text," per SNY's Adam Zagoria. "James Ulis said he was uncertain if Tyler would play [on Monday] and that it depends on what the doctors say. Kentucky's next game after that is against UCLA on Thursday."
Injury Disrupts Ulis' Development
Ulis has been doing it all for Kentucky so far in 2015. Heading into the game against South Florida, the sophomore sensation was tied for the team lead with 14.2 points per game, led the team with 4.8 assists per game and averaged 4.2 rebounds per contest.
The Wildcats are stacked with talent every year, thanks to head coach John Calipari, but Ulis is their one true point guard.
Kentucky will need Ulis to be at full strength if the team hopes to make another deep tournament run, so the Wildcats will be hoping this injury won't resurface later down the stretch.
