Arsenal Transfer News: Zlatan Ibrahimovic Considers Gunners Switch, Top Rumours
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is considering a move to the Premier League when his contract at Paris Saint-Germain ends in the summer, and the mercurial striker is reported to favour a switch to Arsenal.
Neil Moxley of the Sunday People (h/t the Irish Mirror) said the Swedish icon "wants to work" with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, and the Frenchman is "interested" in taking the player to north London.
Ibrahimovic had proclaimed it was "too late" to start a new chapter of his career in England, but Moxley reported he has had "contact with a number of our leading clubs" and has a preference for Arsenal.

Despite his ageing legs, Ibra is still one of the deadliest players on the continent, leading his country to the Euro 2016 finals with his performances and goals.
However, after firing Sweden to victory over Denmark in the play-offs, the striker said he believed it was the wrong time to start an English adventure, per Riath Al-Samarrai of the MailOnline:
"I think it is too late to come to England. I am very happy in PSG, I have my last six months and let us see what happens afterwards. I am enjoying it, I enjoy every day on the field. While I am playing at the top level I just want to join it and do my thing. I do not know where I will finish my career let us wait and see.
"

According to Spanish website Fichajes (h/t the Daily Telegraph), the forward is the subject of interest from Major League Soccer teams and Manchester United, who would provide the Gunners with their major competition if they opt to audaciously sign Ibra.
The striker remains a box office draw, both on and off the pitch, and he displayed his acid tongue once again after the Denmark game, as quoted by Bleacher Report UK:
Ibrahimovic has continued to plunder the goals for PSG in Ligue 1 and the Champions League, scoring nine times and providing five assists in his 13 appearances this term, according to WhoScored.com.
His record with Sweden has also been outstanding, as shared by WhoScored:
Arsenal have craved a world-class striker over the past campaigns, and Ibra would immediately rectify this hole in the Gunners' squad.
Wenger's team fell to defeat at the hands of West Bromwich Albion, losing 2-1 at the Hawthorns on Saturday, and did not have the firepower to overcome their weaker opponents.
The Swede would be a short-term option for Arsenal, but he would bring a multitude of talent and skill to the Emirates Stadium, boosting the confidence of all around him next season.
Wenger Battles United For Rugani

Arsenal want Juventus starlet Daniele Rugani but face stiff competition from Manchester United for the prized defender.
Rugani has struggled to make the breakthrough into the Old Lady starting XI, and the Premier League giants will both tempt the centre-back from Serie A, according to the Mirror's Ed Malyon.
Italian newspaper Tuttosport (h/t football-italia.net) also noted Napoli want the player, who impressed on loan at Empoli last season.
Malyon quoted a source commenting on the 21-year-old's plight in Turin: “Daniele has earned the right to play first-team football. If they won’t give it to him at Juventus, it is only natural he would be enticed by offers from big European clubs.”
BeIN Sports’ Matteo Bonetti lauded the prodigy in the summer and said the player has a big future in the game:

Rugani would fit into Wenger's squad with ease, but the youngster is not the finished article yet, and he would take time to adapt to his new surroundings.
United have a settled defence at present, as Daley Blind and Chris Smalling retain their places after fine performances, but the Gunners could view Rugani as Per Mertesacker's long-term replacement.
The German has lost an edge to his game in recent months, and Rugani has the physical qualities to replace him.
The Italian is strong in the air and possesses maturity beyond his years, but Arsenal fans would need patience if he arrives at the Emirates to take the next step in his career.
