WWE Survivor Series 2015: Superstars Who Will Exceed Expectations
With the talk heading into Survivor Series being heavily focused on the likes of Roman Reigns and The Undertaker, it's important to remember some unheralded guys who will have a positive impact on the show.
Although there haven't been too many matches set in stone yet for the pay-per-view, there are already signs that some guys will be able to exceed the low expectations fans have of them.
Those expectations could be low because they're yet to stand out in the build towards Survivor Series, or simply because their performances over the last few months haven't done anything to suggest a strong showing.
But here are three men in particular who will exceed the expectations of WWE fans this Sunday.
If anyone deserves credit for the way he's worked during The Brothers of Destruction vs. The Wyatt Family, it's Kane.
"Finally, @KaneWWE is getting used with his proper gimmick! #RAW

Yet again, he's proven his worth to WWE by becoming a valuable part of a rivalry without trying to dominate the feud too much. This rivalry is based around The Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt, as we all know, but Kane has played a great accomplice for Taker over the past few weeks.
The whole build for The Brothers of Destruction has been about Taker. The entrance music, the blue lighting, everything. Nothing significant has been about Kane's character, and that's why he'll no doubt show up with a surprising performance at Survivor Series.
He's 48 but is still putting in some strong performances, and he'll catch the eye again this Sunday. Not only is he still a solid and competent performer, he's actually in great form at the moment.
Whether The Undertaker can put in a strong performance in the ring is probably up in the air. But WWE fans can feel much more confident that Kane will exceed expectations and show up with a great performance.
It's what he does best.
Alberto Del Rio
All the talk heading into Roman Reigns vs. Alberto Del Rio is about how Reigns is guaranteed to progress to the final of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament.
That may be the case, but don't rule out a strong showing from Del Rio during the match itself to continue his impressive return to WWE.
Del Rio claimed the United States Championship from John Cena on his first night back with the company at Hell in a Cell, and although his "MexAmerica" gimmick with Zeb Colter could go either way in terms of success, he looks nicely polished inside the ring.
That's perhaps as expected, given how he'd been actively wrestling when he was away from WWE. But fans hold little expectations for Del Rio this weekend, as he's only there to lose to Reigns and crash out in the final four of the tournament.
But expect a crisp, sharp performance from the Mexican when he steps inside the ring. It might not be the best match you'll ever see, but Del Rio's showing will exceed the expectations fans have of him for this Sunday.
Dolph Ziggler
Even with poor storylines and minimal direction in terms of his booking, Dolph Ziggler continues to show up with solid efforts in the ring.
Take this Monday as a prime example. Ziggler and Dean Ambrose put on a great match in the quarterfinals of the world title tournament, with Dolph coming up just short in a nice battle between two popular babyfaces.
If he's involved in a match with Tyler Breeze or even in another bout, perhaps a traditional Survivor Series match, then Dolph will once again put on a good performance.
Fans expect mat magic from Ziggler whenever he wrestles, but the fact he's been stuck in a real rut lately means he'll be able to exceed some fragile expectations this Sunday.
He remains one of WWE's best workers. He's sound in the ring and is a valuable asset for the midcard of the company.
Once again, fans won't be left disappointed with Dolph Ziggler on Sunday night.
