
Mike Iupati Injury: Updates on Cardinals Guard's Neck and Return
Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman Mike Iupati was taken off the field in an ambulance during a Week 10 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Iupati suffered the injury when he slammed his head into the shoulder of Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor, causing him to collapse to the ground.
Iupati has since been discharged and appears to have avoided serious injury. Iupati is ready to return.

Iupati said leaving Sunday's game in an ambulance was "scary," but added he's fine now, per Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official website. Iupati added he expects to play on Sunday night, according to Urban.

ESPN's Josh Weinfuss reported Iupati returned to practice today, after missing Wednesday's session.
Arians Comments on Iupati's Status

Head coach Bruce Arians told Sirius XM NFL Radio that Iupati suffered a double stinger and has been cleared to return.
On Nov. 16, Arians told reporters that Iupati was "fine" and day to day.
Iupati's Testing Does Not Reveal Serious Injury, He Has Feeling in Limbs

Rand Getlin of NFL Network reported Iupati's test have come back "all clear" so far, adding the injury is "assumed to have been nerve related." Getlin also said Iupati is "moving around fine" at the team facility and is "just dealing with a stiff neck."

At the time of the injury, Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com confirmed Iupati was "alert and talking to doctors," which was a relief after the scary development. The Cardinals noted Iupati had "feeling in all extremities" after suffering the injury.
Earl Watford replaced the injured guard.
