Sweden and PSG Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic Says He 'Put France on the World Map'
Zlatan Ibrahimovic oozes confidence.
France won a World Cup trophy, two European Championships and a pair of Confederations Cup titles and produced four Ballon d'Or winners before his arrival at PSG, but Ibrahimovic insists that his performances in Ligue 1 have "put France on the world map."
Speaking ahead of Sweden's Euro 2016 qualifying playoff tie against Denmark, Ibrahimovic made the claim to journalists, reports Eurosport.

"I would love to play at the European Championship in France," he said. "I have played there for four years. I have put Sweden on the world map and now I have put France on the world map too."
Ibrahimovic has scored 59 goals in over 100 appearances for Sweden but has never netted against Denmark.
There are suggestions that if his side fail to qualify for next summer's tournament, he might retire from international football, and there are rumours that Sweden's 10-time player of the year could move away from Paris next summer.

He has scored 115 goals in 140 appearances for PSG in all competitions since joining the side in 2012.
