Iconic Names to Light Up to Los Angeles

Although cricket may not be quite as popular in the United States as it is in other corners of the globe, the two lineups for this fixture and the quality of the matches so far should do plenty to make the sport much more appealing.
After all, Dodger Stadium will play host to some immortal sporting figures. Warne and Tendulkar are two major draws, and each have shown glimpses of their star quality in this series so far.
There have also been remarkable efforts from Sangakkara with the bat, who scored 70 from just 30 balls in the second match, and Andrew Symonds with the ball, who has taken seven wickets so far.

The matches have gripped players who are still operating at the top level, too. India international R P Singh especially enjoyed watching Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly back at the crease in the previous encounter:
To this point, Warne’s team have had an edge over the Blasters. Symonds’ bowling has helped keep star batsmen like Tendulkar, Mahela Jayawardene and Virender Sehwag at bay for the most part, while some super play from Sangakkara, who has 111 runs in the two matches so far, has thrilled the crowds assembled in Houston and New York.

Warne took to social media to express his thanks to the 28,000 Houston crowd in the second match and stated his excitement at taking to the pitch at Dodger Stadium:
It’s the inaugural All-Stars series and the packed stadiums have been a prime indication of the potential popularity of cricket in the United States. Sangakkara paid tribute to the vision of both Warne and Tendulkar after his man of the match performance in Houston.
“Lot of credit to Sachin and Warney, they are pioneers on the field and they are breaking new ground off the field,” he said, per ESPN Cricinfo. “All outstanding players, legends of the game, crowd participation has been unbelievable. Players have given their all on the field. Participation of kids is vital for the growth of the game but for us, its been humbling.”

Despite the matches being exhibitions, it’s encouraging to see these players still preserve a competitive edge when they do take to the wicket.
Still, there’s been a gulf in class between the two teams in the first two matches that’ll be tough to bridge. Warne, a fierce competitor himself, will not be relenting his attempts to secure a whitewash over his illustrious fellow captain, and with levels likely to remain high, expect another comfortable triumph for the Warriors.
Prediction: Warriors Win
