Chelsea Transfer News: Latest Eden Hazard, Diego Costa, Javier Hernandez Rumours
As Chelsea's struggles continue, so too do rumours surrounding their players' futures, and it seems the likes of Eden Hazard and Diego Costa could find their days at Stamford Bridge are numbered.
According to the Daily Mail's Neil Ashton, Hazard is being pursued by Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, with both standing a strong chance of landing the player, providing they compensate the reluctant Blues with at least £80 million—the same figure Los Blancos paid for Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009.
The Belgian has struggled to make an impact with the Blues this season. having scraped together just two assists in all competitions. And with Chelsea currently languishing in 16th place in the Premier League, there has been speculation he will try and seek a move away next summer, as Ashton noted.

Squawka provided further context to the 24-year-old's struggles:
Nevertheless, the attacker is undoubtedly a player of immense talent and prior to his severe dip in form this season was considered by many to be among the best in the world as part of the small group of players vying for position behind Lionel Messi and Ronaldo.
Both Real and PSG can afford Hazard's considerable prospective transfer fee and wages, and the player himself would be the archetypal "Galactico" signing the former are famous for making.
As Ashton further reported, Hazard recently signed a new five-year deal with Chelsea, so one of Blues manager Jose Mourinho's biggest tasks this season—aside from salvaging their league campaign—is to convince him to honour his agreement and remain at the club.

Another player who could be heading out of the door at Stamford Bridge is striker Costa, with Spanish outlet Fichajes (h/t the Daily Star's Luke Gardener) reporting Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is "fed up" with the Spain international. Napoli's Gonzalo Higuain is tipped as a replacement.
Costa has repeatedly drawn attention to his questionable behaviour this season and picked up a three-match suspension for violent conduct after clashing with Laurent Koscielny in Chelsea's 2-0 win over Arsenal in September.
Football writer Henry Winter believes his unsavoury tactics are unnecessary and a PR nightmare for the club:
Costa has managed just three goals in 15 appearances this season, compared with Higuain's 11, so the forward will need to improve both his behaviour and his level of performance if he's to maintain a place at Stamford Bridge.

One player not likely to be replacing him is Javier Hernandez. According to Tom Marshall of ESPN, despite earlier reports the Blues were monitoring the striker, they have not made contact with his club, Bayer Leverkusen.
Marshall cited an "ESPN Mexico source," who said, "There hasn't been any communication with any club about Chicharito that hasn't been Bayer 04."
Hernandez has been in sublime form this season with 10 goals to his name in all competitions, including four in the Champions League. Squawka noted the contrast between his success in front of goal and that of former club Manchester United:
Bundesliga expert Clark Whitney was among many excited by the prospect of Chicharito arriving in Germany:
The 27-year-old is a prolific goalscorer and proven at Premier League level, so he would make a useful acquisition for any team struggling up front as Chelsea are.
However, the club are yet to declare any interest, and having only just arrived in Leverkusen, he isn't likely to be moving again any time soon.
