WWE Raw Results: Biggest Winners, Losers and Moments from November 9
The injury to Seth Rollins shook WWE to its core last week, but Monday night on Raw, from Manchester, England, the company set out to crown a new world heavyweight champion with the first round of a tournament that will conclude at Survivor Series.
Roman Reigns, Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens advanced to the next round, the most coveted prize in the industry just within reach.
Then there was The New Day, who arrived on the scene to a tremendous ovation and picked up an even bigger victory over The Usos and Neville in six-man tag team match.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Paige squared off with Becky Lynch ahead of her Divas Championship match against Charlotte at Survivor Series, while Natalya's budding rivalry with Team BAD wrote its latest chapter Monday night.
With a wealth of talented young stars making their presence felt on Raw, this week's show was another solid effort from a WWE Creative staff that may be reeling in the wake of Rollins' torn ACL, MCL and medial meniscus but did not allow it to adversely affect the flagship show of Vince McMahon's sports-entertainment conglomerate.
Of course, there was still one major creative choice that resulted in the biggest loser of the night, a decision that probably erased the desire of fans to see one of the premiere matches at Survivor Series, but for the most part, the good outweighed the bad.
Winner: Cesaro
The Swiss Superman has been flirting with irrelevancy in recent weeks, but on Monday night, he stormed back into the realm of meaning with his victory over Sheamus. More importantly, he continued to interact with the crowd, proving to those in the back doubting his ability to connect with the audience that he can, and will, elicit a reaction when given the opportunity.
Cesaro is a Superstar who clearly recognizes that he has a real opportunity to accomplish something special going down the home stretch here in 2015, and he has taken it upon himself to deliver the most impassioned performances of his career.
Hopefully, for his sake, someone in the back is taking notice and will reward him for his efforts. Otherwise, it will all be for naught, and he will find himself right back in the same position he has been in for months—engaging the crowd and delivering phenomenal performances to no avail.
Losers: The Wyatt Family
With Survivor Series on the horizon, and what is expected to be a huge showdown between The Wyatt Family and The Brothers of Destruction, someone made the decision to have Undertaker and Kane go ahead and destroy Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt all by themselves.
While it may have given the fans in Manchester something to pop for, it also killed any possible interest in actually wanting to pay money to see the match on November 22.
After all, two guys just wiped out four by themselves, with little need for partners. So why would fans possibly invest themselves in a story in which Undertaker and Kane search high and low for two more partners when it clearly does not matter?
Hurt more than the impending match were the members of The Wyatt Family, who looked like little more than tackling dummies for their latest rivals.
Bray, in particular, looks like a false profit (again), his sorcery and magic that allow him to conjure the powers of the afterlife (or some nonsense like that) proving to be but smoke and mirrors in relation to what The Deadman and The Devil's Favorite Demon are capable of.
A fan-friendly segment that, in the grand scheme of things, did more to kill interest than evoke it.
Winner: Kevin Owens
From the promo he cut prior to his match with Titus O'Neil to his victory in that match and advancement in the tournament, Owens had a very strong Monday night that effectively set him up as one of the favorites to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on November 22.
The current intercontinental champion has been in a bit of a holding pattern of late, but he stormed back Monday night, thanks in large part to a vacancy on the heel side of things created by Seth Rollins' injury.
Owens has earned the right to star in this tournament, turning in one of his finest years as an in-ring competitor. Whether that nets him the top prize in WWE (probably not) remains to be seen, but for now, fans of KO can rest assured he will make noise both now and at Survivor Series.
Winner: Becky Lynch
The Lass Kicker has been in the process of rebounding from an atrocious first few months on the main roster in recent weeks. On Monday night, she scored a signature victory over Paige, albeit with a handful of tights.
The finish was clever in that it involved Lynch utilizing the same underhanded tactics that her opponent had tried moments earlier. It was a nice bit of comeuppance for Paige, who has looked very strong heading into Survivor Series and a Divas Championship match with Charlotte.
The big question surrounding Lynch at this point is where she goes from here. With the three trios that have dominated the Divas Revolution to this point seemingly splitting, the competitors heading in their own directions, will the Irish-born star finally have the opportunity to prove herself, or will she descend back into meaninglessness when the story with Paige wraps up?
It is a scenario that certainly bears watching.
