Latest on Hall's Status

The team added that the surgery was successful, and Hall is set to miss three to four weeks while on the injured reserve list.
According to Yahoo Sports' Sean Leahy, Hall arrived at American Airlines Center before Tuesday's game against the Dallas Stars and told trainers that "something was bothering him in his leg."
The Devils then sent him back to New Jersey to undergo an MRI.
This is hardly the start the Devils wanted after acquiring Hall from the Edmonton Oilers for defenseman Adam Larsson during the offseason.
Hall is coming off one of the finest seasons of his career, recording 26 goals and 39 assists in 2015-16. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 draft was one of the best players on an Oilers team that hasn't reached the playoffs in a decade. With Edmonton's accrual of young talent, though, including 2015 No. 1 overall pick Connor McDavid, Hall became expendable.
The Devils struggled to find scoring last year, making Hall's addition welcome. In 2015-16, New Jersey ranked dead last in the league with 184 goals scored.
Upon his arrival, Hall played alongside Adam Henrique, with whom he won two straight Memorial Cups as a member of the Windsor Spitfires in the Ontario Hockey League.
Flanking his former amateur teammate, Hall has recorded five goals and seven assists through 14 games, and with 21 points entering Wednesday, the Devils are in the middle of the Eastern Conference playoff picture.
With Hall sidelined, New Jersey would like to turn to Michael Cammalleri to pick up the scoring load, but he has missed the last three games for undisclosed personal reasons. After the 34-year-old posted 27 goals in his first year with the Devils, an injury-shortened 2015-16 saw him put up just 14 goals.
PA Parenteau, whom the team picked up on waivers before the start of the season, has been a solid addition, with five goals, and will continue to provide left wing support while Hall is out.
