Luis Enrique Orders Media to Move on from Barcelona's Halloween Prank
Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has urged the media to move on after several of his players were involved in a Halloween prank gone awry following their 2-0 defeat of Getafe on Saturday.
According to Javier Giraldo of Sport, Enrique said:
"We didn’t have Halloween in my day, it was carnival. We didn’t know what Halloween was, but it’s nice to have fancy dress now and again... look I’ve answered the question. Next one.
On Saturday what happened was that we won 2-0. The rest, I'll repeat, we live in a circus. The players apologised and it ends there.

Per ESPN FC's Dermot Corrigan, when pushed for further comment on the matter, he replied:
As Giraldo noted, the Spaniard generally appeared to be in a fairly jovial mood, though, and he cracked several jokes during the press conference.
The event in question saw several Blaugrana players don fancy dress and accidentally burst into the press room as Getafe forward Victor Rodriguez was giving his thoughts on the match, per football journalist Samuel Marsden:
Fellow journalist Rik Sharma clarified the Barca players' intention:
According to Radio Marca (via Corrigan), the behaviour "angered" Getafe President Angel Torres.
However, the players involved have since apologised, while, according to Marca, Getafe's Pedro Leon revealed Barca captain Andres Iniesta also made a phone call to apologise on their behalf; Leon also expressed his desire to move on from the unfortunate incident.
While tactless and a poor error in judgement on behalf of the players, the incident was not particularly serious, and their apologies should suffice. For all involved, moving on seems like the best course of action.
