Marshall Records 4th Consecutive 100-Yard Receiving Game
New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall caught seven passes for 111 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-20 win over the Washington Redskins, thus becoming the first Jets player since Don Maynard in 1968 to record four consecutive 100-yard receiving games, per NFL Network's Rand Getlin.
Though somewhat overshadowed by his team's excellent defense and running back Chris Ivory, Marshall has quietly been one of the season's bigger surprises following a disappointing and injury-marred 2014 with the Chicago Bears.
He caught just 61 passes for 721 yards and eight touchdowns in 13 games last season, with his campaign eventually cut short by broken ribs and a collapsed lung.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
There was some thought the 31-year-old wideout might be entering the twilight of his career, but he has swiftly put those thoughts to rest in New York, averaging 7.4 catches for 102.2 yards per game.
Marshall is on pace for a whopping 118 receptions for 1,635 yards and 13 touchdowns, with the first two numbers representing single-season franchise records.
He'd need 14 touchdowns to match that Jets record, which is currently held by Maynard (1965) and Art Powell (1960).
Maynard also holds the record for yards (1,434 in 1967), but Al Toon has the mark for receptions, having caught 93 passes in 1988.
Barring a serious injury, Marshall should at least break Toon's record, if not all three.
