Aguero is still out with an injury, while Sanchez scored once in Arsenal's 3-0 win over Watford. Dimitri Payet and Yohan Cabaye also scored for West Ham United and Crystal Palace, respectively, and Raheem Sterling stole the show with a first-half hat-trick in Manchester City's 5-1 win over Bournemouth.

Recap

The Foxes were down by two goals and in real danger of losing their second match of the season when Vardy did what he does best, scoring twice in the second half to salvage a point for Leicester City.

His second goal came just before the final whistle, ensuring the visitors' strong start to the season continued with a fine result at St Mary's.

As shared by Bleacher Report UK, Vardy is single-handedly outscoring a host of Premier League clubs:

Leicester City field the second-best attack of the Premier League but have struggled defending their own goal, and Vardy's timely strikes have been vital for the club. Their battle against relegation already seems all but over, and at this point, the Foxes may well aim for a top-10 finish.

As shared by the club's official Twitter account, the 28-year-old believed the Foxes fully deserved the point they got on Saturday:

While Vardy's two-goal haul was impressive, Sterling will be the man who makes the headlines with his first-half hat-trick against Bournemouth.

The Cherries must have relished the chance to go up against City without Aguero, but the league leaders looked just as deadly in front of goal, despite the absence of their star striker.

Kevin De Bruyne seems to have adapted to his new surroundings as if it was nothing―providing yet another assist―but Sterling was the one leading the charge, opening the score after seven minutes before Wilfried Bony made it 2-0. The England international then twice used his pace to get into the right positions and complete his hat-trick.

Footballer-turned-pundit Jan Aage Fjortoft had nothing but praise for the former Liverpool man:

City will play bitter rivals Manchester United next week, and even without Aguero, the Citizens seem just about unstoppable on their march toward another Premier League title.

Elsewhere, both Sanchez and Olivier Giroud scored second-half goals to lead Arsenal past Watford and back into second place in the standings. Odion Ighalo had a solid outing in that match, but the Gunners' defence did well to limit his chances for goals.

Crystal Palace's defenders weren't so lucky, as Payet continued his strong form in West Ham United's 3-1 win—a match in which Cabaye also scored.

As shared by OptaJoe, the 28-year-old just can't stop producing:

Swansea City will play Stoke City on Monday, giving Bafetimbi Gomis the chance to catch the handful of players who currently sit on five goals.

Gomis started the season by scoring in four straight matches but hasn't found the back of the net since August, and given Stoke's relatively strong defence, he may not have a lot of chances to get out of his slump.
