Miles Comments on Moore's Injury
Monday, Nov. 8
Head coach Les Miles told reporters Moore is "probably" done for the season after further damaging the knee on Saturday.
Moore Absence Will Deprive Fournette of Lead Blocker
Moore hasn't recorded a single carry this season and has just the one catch. His biggest impact comes as the lead blocker for Leonard Fournette, the nation's leading rusher with 1,383 yards through eight games, when the team uses an I-formation.
Bry'Keithon Mouton, David Ducre and Tony Upchurch all were slated to fill in for Moore after the initial injury, per Jim Kleinpeter of NOLA.com, and the coaching staff will once again have to try to find a fullback who can build some chemistry with Fournette, the team's most important offensive weapon.
