10 Under-21s Who Could Take Euro 2016 by Storm
We've still got the playoffs to come next month, but for now we know 20 of the 24 teams who'll be taking to the fields of France next summer for Euro 2016.
For the likes of Albania, Iceland, Northern Ireland and Wales it will be a new experience as the quartet take their places in a first ever European Championships, but there will be other new names on show next summer, too.
Some of Europe's best young players will be strutting their stuff, and here are 10 of them.
Stated players are all under the age of 21 at the time of writing.
Breel Embolo, Switzerland
1 of 10
Age: 18
Born in Cameroon, forward Breel Embolo has been a revelation at FC Basel ever since breaking into the first team in March 2014, so much so that it became impossible for Switzerland coach Vladimir Petkovic to ignore him for too long.
A quick, powerful forward who made his senior international debut in March, Embolo scored his first international goal from the penalty spot and registered an assist in Switzerland's 7-0 win over San Marino last week.
Kurt Zouma, France
2 of 10
Age: 20
Although battling for a place in the centre of the hosts' defence with the likes of Raphael Varane, Mamadou Sakho, Eliaquim Mangala and Laurent Koscielny, there is every reason to believe that Chelsea's Kurt Zouma could emerge as a key player for France at the finals.
Quick and powerful, albeit a little bit raw, Zouma is learning on the job at Chelsea as Jose Mourinho frequently prefers him to John Terry, and he'll be desperate for more experience as he bids to make Didier Deschamps' final squad.
Raheem Sterling, England
3 of 10
Age: 20
Given his rapid rise and exorbitant transfer fee, it is easy to forget that Raheem Sterling is still just 20 years old.
The new Manchester City man is still finding his feet at the Etihad Stadium, but he did pop up with only his second-ever international goal in England's recent victory over Estonia at Wembley. It would be a huge surprise if Sterling didn't make up an important part of England's attack at the finals, and after impressing during his first World Cup last summer, he'll feel confident that he's set to shine.
Zakaria Bakkali, Belgium
4 of 10
Age: 19
After a call-up to the Belgium squad in 2013 to ensure he didn't opt to take up his option of playing for Morocco, talented winger Zakaria Bakkali was back in the fold for the recent qualifiers against Andorra and Israel, during which his nation's place in France was secured.
Now at Valencia after breaking through at PSV Eindhoven, Bakkali's talents have so far been seen six times in La Liga for his new club, with plenty more appearances to follow before the finals in the summer.
Karol Linetty, Poland
5 of 10
Age: 20
A talent who has been talked about in Poland for a while now, Lech Poznan midfielder Karol Linetty played the full 90 minutes in his nation's crucial 2-1 qualifying victory over the Republic of Ireland that secured their passage to France.
Linked with a move to Manchester City by the Daily Mail last month, Linetty is a midfielder who likes to keep things neat and tidy. He impressed in the Ireland game on what was just his second appearance of the qualification campaign.
Dele Alli, England
6 of 10
Age: 19
Competition for places in England's midfield is fierce, but due to a combination of injuries and his own good form, Tottenham Hotspur's Dele Alli has earned the right to a couple of caps in the past week.
Tigerish in the tackle and with the ability to get forward and score goals, the former Milton Keynes Dons man might be seen as something of a long shot to make the squad, but he's certainly giving Roy Hodgson food for thought.
Anthony Martial, France
7 of 10
Age: 19
His explosive introduction into the Premier League has very quickly alerted football fans to the qualities of Manchester United's Anthony Martial, and France will feel as though he will offer their attack something different, potentially the bench, during a tournament they'll be expecting to go deep in.
Quick, direct and with an obvious eye for goal, Martial should be a valuable backup for the likes of Karim Benzema and Antoine Griezmann and could even put pressure on Olivier Giroud and Alexandre Lacazette to improve their form this season.
Ondrej Duda, Slovakia
8 of 10
Age: 20
He's been a match-winner for his country in a fiercely contested local derby with the Czech Republic, he's had a stone thrown at him during a Europa League match causing the game to be abandoned and he's been linked with a transfer to Inter Milan, Arsenal and Tottenham by Peter O'Rourke of ESPN FC. It's safe to say 20-year-old midfielder Ondrej Duda has packed a lot into his tender years.
He'll be adding a European Championships appearance to that list next summer after helping Slovakia through a tricky Group C campaign, in which they finished second to Spain.
Jason Denayer, Belgium
9 of 10
Age: 20
After an impressive spell on loan at Celtic last season when he won the PFA Scotland Player of the Year award, Belgian centre-back Jason Denayer is continuing his development with a temporary spell at Galatasaray in 2015/16, so doubt with designs on returning to Manchester City and rivaling the influence of fellow countryman Vincent Kompany.
A powerful and quick defender, Denayer has some serious competition to contend with in a department where Belgium are particularly strong, but if he can carry on at this rate, then he could certainly be in the squad.
Ruben Neves, Portugal
10 of 10
Age: 18
The only player on our list who has yet to win a senior cap for his country, it would be no surprise if Portugal's Ruben Neves had forced his way into his nation's senior team by the time Euro 2016 comes around next summer.
