A.J. Green, Marvin Jones, Andy Dalton's Post-Week 3 Fantasy Advice
For three quarters, A.J. Green and Andy Dalton were on their way to solid fantasy football performances. Then, they exploded in the fourth quarter of the Cincinnati Bengals' 28-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
According to NFL.com, Green and Dalton were the highest-scoring wide receiver and quarterback following Week 3's early games, while Marvin Jones was the No. 8 WR in his own right. You can view the numbers from all three players below:

Josh Kirkendall of SB Nation's Cincy Jungle highlighted just how great Dalton and Green were during the final 15 minutes of the game:
Dalton also played a key role in the Bengals' game-winning touchdown, per Paul Dehner Jr. of the Cincinnati Enquirer:
By now, fans know the book on Dalton. He is rightfully regarded as one of the most frustrating quarterbacks in the league; he'll look great one game and then completely abject the next. Pro Football Focus' Sam Monson made light of Dalton's inconsistencies from week to week:
Without question, the 27-year-old has looked very good—dare I say great—in 2015. Adding in his Week 3 numbers, he has thrown for 866 yards, eight touchdowns and one interception.
But the 2015 season is just three weeks old. That sample size isn't entirely large when measured against the entirety of his NFL career to date. Plus, how many times have we been burned by thinking Dalton has truly turned a corner?
While you should remain skeptical regarding Dalton, he's worth starting as a QB1 in standard fantasy leagues unless you have an elite fantasy performer already on your roster.
In the event you do start Dalton, make sure you have a solid backup plan. In addition, don't expect his numbers to remain this impressive going forward. Some regression is likely to come in the near future.
The next three weeks should cement whether this version of Dalton is for real. Matchups against the Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks and Buffalo Bills await the Bengals.
Given the possible difficulty of three games, you might want to avoid Cincy's starting quarterback in daily fantasy leagues.
While Green's value is tied heavily to whether Dalton is blowing hot or cold in any given game, he's undoubtedly a WR1 when healthy. The second part is the only potential issue for Green after he missed three games last year. Before that, though, the 27-year-old missed one game in three years, so it's not as if he is an injury-prone wideout.
Green is the most sure thing fantasy-wise in the Bengals offense.
Meanwhile, Jones is one of the most intriguing.
Chances are the 25-year-old is available in your league, and if he is, you should strongly consider adding him if your own wide receivers have underwhelmed this year.
Rarely will Jones be Dalton's top target in the passing game, and he will more often than not play third fiddle behind Green and one of Tyler Eifert or Mohamed Sanu. While Jones is capable of repeating Sunday's performance, it shouldn't become the expectation, especially if Dalton falls back into his previously erratic ways.
But if you're hoping to shore up the WR position or looking to improve your flex option, Jones could be worth the risk. Don't forget he caught 51 passes for 712 yards and 10 touchdowns in his last full season. Approaching similar numbers again would have him firmly in WR2 territory.
