Manager Jose Mourinho provided news of Falcao's latest setback, announcing "he will be out for a few weeks," per the club.

The Colombian superstar has struggled with injuries since suffering anterior cruciate ligament damage in his knee whilst playing for Monaco in January 2013, as reported by ESPN FC.
The striker signed for Manchester United in 2014 on loan in an attempt to reignite his career, but he did not impress under Red Devils manager Louis van Gaal, often finding himself a fixture on the bench.
Eyebrows were raised when Mourinho brought him to Stamford Bridge in the summer, and that decision will now be questioned after Falcao's latest injury.
The 29-year-old has managed to make just one start for his new Premier League club, per WhoScored.com, scoring a solitary goal in nine appearances.

The No. 9 signed for Chelsea in a year-long loan deal, with an option for a permanent switch, per BBC Sport, but if the former Atletico Madrid predator cannot maintain his fitness and be available for selection, his stay in west London will be temporary.
There is little doubt Falcao has been one of the world's extraordinary strikers over the past decade, but his body is now betraying him as he looks to carve out a career in English football.
