Internet Reaction as Brendan Rodgers Faces Questions over His Liverpool Future
Brendan Rodgers faced the media on Friday morning after a week that began with a home draw against Norwich City and continued with an unconvincing midweek win over Carlisle United on penalties.
Squeezed in between were Mario Balotelli’s antics, former captain Steven Gerrard labelling the Northern Irishman as "overconfident" and some not-so-subtle hints from the fans that they want Jurgen Klopp in the Liverpool job.
And former Reds defender Mark Lawrenson told BBC Sport Rodgers could only have 10 days to save his job, with games against Aston Villa and Sion to come before the Merseyside derby on October 4.

It’s fair to say Rodgers is under a wee bit of pressure.
Facing questions about his future was probably the last thing Rodgers wanted to do, so he opened his press conference with even more bad news.
But then came the inevitable, and Rodgers reaffirmed his commitment to Liverpool and urged the supporters to get behind him.
The response was predictable.
"• 32 players signed. • £289,680,000 million spent. • 3 years, no trophies. • No identity. Time for change.

And there was scarcely any support for former Liverpool winger John Barnes' assertion on talkSPORT that supporters should get behind Rodgers.
"John Barnes wondering why he didn't have any sort of management career?! Still thinking Rodgers is right for us. That explains it all.

Really, the day can be best summed up by one hashtag.
