Roethlisberger Breaks Steelers Record with 108th Regular-Season Win
Although his day was marred by a serious knee injury, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was credited with his 108th career regular-season win in Sunday's 12-6 victory over the St. Louis Rams, breaking Terry Bradshaw's old franchise record of 107, per the Steelers' official Twitter account.
After tying the record in a Week 2 romp over the San Francisco 49ers, Roethlisberger found the yards and points much harder to come by Sunday afternoon against a stout St. Louis defense.
He did complete 20 of his 24 passes before exiting with the injury in the third quarter, but he only managed 192 yards with no touchdowns and one interception.

Surprisingly, it was the embattled Pittsburgh defense that mostly deserves credit for the victory, as St. Louis managed just 258 yards of total offense on 49 plays, with a 20 percent conversion rate on third downs.
The Steelers only had one more yard of offense (259), but a 50 percent conversion rate on third downs allowed them to mount a couple of impressive drives.
Now 2-1, Pittsburgh returns home to face the 0-3 Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football, with quarterback Mike Vick at the helm.
Roethlisberger should add to his record-setting win total later in the season, but he's first expected to miss four to six weeks due to a sprained MCL in his left knee, per Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
