Landry Becomes Fastest to 100 Receptions in Dolphins History
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry recorded the 100th reception of his young career during Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, becoming the fastest player to reach the milestone in franchise history, per the Dolphins' official Twitter account.
Landry entered Sunday's game with 92 career receptions through 17 games, having caught five or more passes in each of his last 10 contests, including an eight-reception showing in a Week 1 win over the Washington Redskins.
It appeared he might have to wait another week for his 100th catch, as he only had seven receptions for the day when Jaguars kicker Jason Myers kicked a go-ahead, 28-yard field goal with just 40 seconds remaining.

Landry then caught a nine-yard pass on the first play of the Dolphins' last-ditch drive, but his milestone reception was followed by a spike and a pair of incompletions.
The Dolphins thus took a surprising loss to fall to 1-1 on the season, despite Landry's eight catches for 110 yards on 10 targets.
He may not provide many big plays on offense, but Landry has clearly emerged as Ryan Tannehill's favorite receiver, primarily working out of the slot.
Landry also returns punts for the Dolphins, and he showed in Week 1 that he does have some big-play ability, returning a punt 69 yards for a touchdown against the Washington Redskins.
