
Aaron Williams Injury: Updates on Bills Safety's Neck and Return
Aaron Williams left the Buffalo Bills' Week 2 matchup against the New England Patriots after suffering a scary injury.
Tim Graham of the Buffalo News reported that Williams was taken to the hospital for examination of his cervical vertebrae. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Williams underwent a CT scan and MRI and had full movement in his extremities.
Williams missed the team's next two games.

The 25-year-old left the field in an ambulance, per BuffaloBills.com's Chris Brown, after he leaped to make a last-ditch tackle on Julian Edelman. Uproxx's Pete Blackburn provided a replay of the incident:
The Boston Globe's Ben Volin snapped a photo of the scene inside the stadium after medics placed Williams in the ambulance:
Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reported people who had spoken with Williams' family said "they were in good spirits and believed that Aaron was doing OK overall."

The former Texas Longhorn appeared in 15 games last year, making 51 total tackles and intercepting a pass. He had already made his presence felt during the 2015 campaign, picking off a pass from Andrew Luck in the fourth quarter of Buffalo's Week 1 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
