WWE Night of Champions 2015: Stars Who Will Break out at PPV Event
The title-centric Night of Champions is a pay-per-view that showcases talent in contention for championships—and what better place for an up-and-comer to put on a breakout performance?
This year, there are several stars on the cusp of greatness who could use the event to propel them forward. As WWE rounds out 2015, plans for next year's WrestleMania will begin to come together, so it's crucial for talent to showcase their talents to the best of their ability.
Who will be on top when the road to WrestleMania begins in January? It's difficult to say at this point, but strong performances over the next few months are the best way for WWE superstars to stake their claim for a spot high up the card as 2016 gets underway.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Braun Strowman

Not many wrestlers have received as promising a debut as The Black Sheep of The Wyatt Family. Paired with the very capable Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper, and facing the hugely popular team of Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, Braun Strowman has an opportunity to make his first PPV match memorable.
We haven't seen all that much of the big man in the ring, but what's there is intriguing.
Like his predecessor Erick Rowan, Strowman is something of a throwback, with offence like his Blood Choke submission harkening back to an era long passed.
That sets him apart from other athletes on the roster, as well as distracting from some of the rough edges that come with his lack of experience. Now, it's important that Strowman demonstrates an ability to quickly get up to speed with the demands of mainline WWE.
No one is expecting him to be a work-rate wrestler akin to Neville or Seth Rollins. However, he needs to be able to establish himself as a monster—a role he could fill for many years if he can hit the ground running over the coming weeks.
At present, Strowman is all potential, but Night of Champions could be just the stage he needs to break out.
Charlotte

Next week, we'll see Charlotte challenge for Nikki Bella's Divas Championship on Raw. Whichever way that bout turns out, we'll almost certainly see the pair meet once again with the title on the line at Night of Champions.
It seems all but certain that Charlotte will claim the title for herself, either next week or at Night of Champions.
If properly executed, this could be the tipping point in both the Divas revolution and her own journey from NXT to the main roster.
If you followed her reign as NXT women's champion, you'll see why Charlotte is a smart choice to build a division around. She's comfortable in whatever role she's put in and very capable of having standout matches with just about any of the other women around her.
However, in her main-roster appearances thus far, she's simply seemed like part of a group. There's nothing wrong with that in and of itself, but now is the time for her to strike out on her own—and putting the Divas Championship around her waist would be sure to jump-start the process.
Once Charlotte has knocked off Nikki, she'd be free to enter into a feud that can build upon her experience in NXT. Sasha Banks seems like the most obvious contender, but a short program with Paige would perhaps be the most prescient option.
Whatever the plans are for the future, expect Charlotte to be one of the biggest talking points over the next couple of weeks—if not for next week's Raw, then because of her showing at Night of Champions.
Seth Rollins

The Architect has experienced many breakout moments over the course of his career, but the most impactful yet might be about to play out at Night of Champions.
You might argue that Rollins has already broken out, but there's always another level to reach as a pro wrestler. If he can beat Sting and John Cena on the same night to retain two championships, there's little argument against him being a tried-and-true main eventer.
Rollins' reign as WWE world heavyweight champion doesn't confirm that status in its own right. From The Miz to Sheamus, we've seen plenty of talent claim the richest prize in the game only to slip down the card afterwards.
That same fate won't come to The Architect.
The increasingly lengthy time that Rollins has spent with the title has been filled with assistance from The Authority and countless other shortcuts. However, we're starting to see signs that a confident Rollins can get the job done for himself.
If Rollins can win his two matches at Night of Champions, there will be little doubt that he has earned his spot. That could change the entire tone of his reign as champion and set up some very interesting feuds for the future.
In a sense, The Architect broke out long ago—but in another way, he's just on the verge of truly making good on his potential and entering the pro wrestling pantheon.
A strong showing at this month's PPV could take him a big step closer to doing just that.
