Manchester City vs. Watford: Team News, Preview, Live Stream & TV Info
Manchester City host newly promoted Watford on Saturday looking to set a new club record of 10 successive league victories.
City have won all three of their opening games this season without conceding a goal and sit top of the table, having managed six consecutive wins at the end of the last campaign. Manuel Pellegrini stands of the brink of history.
City’s flawless start to the season has seen them beat West Bromwich Albion, Chelsea and Everton, scoring eight goals in the process. Their speed and vitality in attack has returned, and they look ready for a title challenge after the disappointment of last season, where they slumped from the turn of the year and allowed Chelsea a free run at winning the league.

Watford are unbeaten thus far having drawn all three of their matches. Quique Sanchez Flores, the Watford boss, will be pleased with the application of his players in their three games.
City cannot be complacent. If they want to break a club record that has stood since 1912, they’ll have to show the same hard work and quality on the ball they have managed in their previous games.

Watford (from): Arlauskis, Gilmartin, Gomes, Angella, Belkalem, Cathcart, Hoban, Holebas, Layun, Nyom, Paredes, Prodl, Pudil, Abdi, Anya, Ake, Behrami, Capoue, Dyer, Jurado, Watson, Berghuis, Deeney, Diamanti, Ighalo, Forestieri, Vydra.

Players to Watch
City: Sergio Aguero
In Sergio Aguero, City have the finest striker in the Premier League, and he looks to be getting close to match sharpness after a truncated pre-season disrupted by his involvement in the Copa America.
His movement and pace leaves defenders flat-footed, with his precision finishing ensuring he scores plenty of goals. Minimising his impact is near impossible when he's in form.

Watford: Heurelho Gomes
The former Tottenham goalkeeper, Heurelho Gomes, has kept two clean sheets in his side's first three games of the season. Another one on Saturday would provide Watford with the perfect base on which to build.
Of course, with Aguero in City's attack, as well as Raheem Sterling and David Silva, his task will be harder this week than it has on any previous encounter.
Gomes is a goalkeeper who veers from the sublime to the ridiculous, often within minutes. Capable of mind-bending saves, he also has a mistake in him. Which Gomes turns up at the Etihad will go a long way in determining Watford's chances.

Key Battle: David Silva vs. Etienne Capoue
Keeping Aguero quiet is just part of the problem for Watford. David Silva, their floating No. 10 who has started the season in remarkable form, is another who can destroy sides if given too much space.
The balance offered by Jesus Navas and Raheem Sterling on the wings means Silva is finding far more space in central areas than he has in recent seasons. He's revelling in it. His performances against West Brom, Chelsea and Everton have been special and key to City's wonderful start to the season.
Former Tottenham man Etienne Capoue is likely to be asked to keep a close eye on Silva.
