WWE SummerSlam 2015: Feuds That Will Continue Through Night of Champions
With a hefty 10 matches on the card at SummerSlam, there was always the likelihood that some feuds will continue through Night of Champions.
With only a few weeks between the two shows, there's little time for WWE to drag plenty of its stars into fresh feuds, which leads to the inevitability that some of them will carry on at the next pay-per-view.
As well as that, there were also some matches that were fairly new and had their first airing on pay-per-view. Here are the feuds that will continue through Night of Champions.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Sheamus vs. Randy Orton
With little planned elsewhere for these two fairly significant characters, the likelihood is that both Sheamus and Randy Orton will go round again at Night of Champions.
There's plenty of room for improvement in this feud, too. Far too little emphasis and importance were placed on the rivalry in the weeks leading up to SummerSlam, and with matches like Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker and John Cena vs. Seth Rollins taking up the limelight, this bout faded into the background like many others.
Especially when you consider that Sheamus is Mr. Money in the Bank, it's even more surprising that the rivalry didn't get much TV time. It's been a worrying start for the feud post-SummerSlam, given how they were thrown into an eight-man tag match on Raw with a bunch of other stars who will carry on with their feuds in the coming weeks.
Perhaps WWE can actually bring Sheamus' briefcase into the storyline to create some interest. Orton and Sheamus cab continually beat each other down on a weekly basis before each other's matches and eventually bring the hostility to such a level that Sheamus declares he will put the briefcase on the line just to get his hands on Orton.
That would then create a captivating backdrop to a feud that has failed to sparkle so far.
Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. The Wyatt Family
Obviously after the events on Raw, Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper have now become The Wyatt Family once again thanks to the introduction of Braun Strowman (although whether he'll retain that name is uncertain at present).
But Strowman's turning up and making quite an impact on Raw has given this rivalry exactly what it needed: fresh impetus.
That means that now there's no reason why this can't go on to Night of Champions and be a compelling and enthralling addition to the card there, as opposed to SummerSlam, where it felt pretty flat.
Many expected a turn in that match from either Ambrose and Reigns, which didn't materialise, so bringing a third member of The Wyatt Family in, and a new face to WWE fans at that, will ramp up the interest.
How Reigns and Ambrose hatch together a plan to bring down the monstrous Strowman, who consigned both of them to unconsciousness on Raw during his debut, will be equally as fascinating. You would think The Shield's patented numbers game will take effect via Ambrose and Reigns bringing in a third member, although after Sting set his crosshairs on Seth Rollins, quite who that will be is anyone's guess.
Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro
Whether Kevin Owens and Cesaro are definitely going to go around again at Night of Champions is still unclear, but all the logical signs point toward a rematch at the next pay-per-view.
Why? Well first of all, their match at SummerSlam was one of the more underrated ones of the night, and it almost got lost in the shuffle amid all the celebrity involvement and the controversy concerning Undertaker in the main event.
You only have to flick back through their meetings in the last few weeks too to see that this bout deserves a proper showing at Night of Champions.
With Seth Rollins now in possession of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and the United States Championship, it would be great to see Rollins surrender the midcard title and let some fresh talent have a run with that belt.
WWE could create a scenario where Cesaro and Owens are both thrown into a big tournament for the title to be held over the next few editions of Raw, and then ensure that they meet in the finale at Night of Champions.
WWE would certainly create interest in the match by doing that, and it would be a wrestling masterclass, if nothing else. Cesaro vs. Owens II is a bout that just has to happen.
