This time, it wasn't so easy for the powerful Red Land Little League team.

The tables had been turned on the Mid-Atlantic regional champions as they came into their dugout in the bottom of the sixth inning trailing by two runs.

After a building a 6-0 lead over Northwood, South Carolina, the Southeast Regional champions rallied to take an 8-6 lead in the seventh inning. The South Carolina team had used a two-out rally in the top of the seventh to do its damage.

But that was not to be. Kaden Peifer led off the bottom of the sixth with a home run, and that lit a fuse for Red Land. They loaded the bases with no outs, and Jaden Henline played the role of hero by lining a double down the left field line for the winning hit and a thrilling 9-8 victory.
