Little League World Series 2015: Friday Schedule and Bracket After Day 1 Rainout
It may have been a washout on Thursday, but the Little League World Series will get underway with a full schedule of eight games on Friday.
The Little League World Series officials made the decision to call off games early in the day after rain hit Williamsport, Pennsylvania. But because Lamade and Volunteer Stadiums both have lights, the facilities can support four games by spreading them out throughout the day and evening.

The four games that were scheduled for Thursday will be played earliest on the schedule, with Uganda (Africa-Europe region) meeting the Dominican Republic (Caribbean). Uganda steamrolled most of its European opponents to earn its spot in Williamsport, and the Dominican Republic has long been a baseball hotbed.
While the Ugandans play with passion and are intense competitors, it seems likely that the Dominican Republic team would have the advantage. That game will get underway at 10 a.m. ET at Volunteer Field.
An hour later, Wilshire-Riverside, Oregon will represent the Northwest region and take on Pearland, Texas, the Southwest regional champion. Wilshire-Riverside used an explosive attack to win its region, scoring at least 10 runs in all of its qualifying games. Those two teams will play at Lamade Stadium.
Bowling Green, Kentucky, will represent the Great Lakes region, and the Kentucky team will have a difficult assignment against Sweetwater Valley, California, the West regional winner.
Bowling Green was pushed to the edge in its regional competition after losing to Wisconsin by a 10-0 score, but the team came back to beat the Badger State representatives by a 13-0 margin to earn the trip to Pennsylvania. Bowling Green and Sweetwater Valley will meet at Lamade Stadium at 2 p.m. ET.
Venezuela and Australia will play at Volunteer Stadium at 1 p.m. ET. The Cardenales rolled to an 8-0 record to earn the Latin America regional championship, while Sydney's Cronulla Little League team is the first team from Australia's East Coast to represent the country in the Little League World Series.
Canada and Mexico will square off at Volunteer Stadium at 4 p.m. ET. The Canadian team from White Rock, British Columbia, won seven of eight games to punch its ticket to Pennsylvania. White Rock defeated a team from Ottawa by a resounding 16-0 margin to become the eighth team from British Columbia to represent Canada at the LLWS.
Mexico is represented by the team from Mexicali, Baja California. That team qualified to go to Williamsport with a 7-1 record and defeated Conno Hill by a 13-6 score in the Mexican regional final game.
