Football reporter Fabrizio Romano reported later on Monday that Balogun has agreed on personal terms with Everton.
Balogun, 25, scored 13 goals and added four assists for Monaco in France's Ligue 1 last season, by far his best campaign with the club after joining from Arsenal in the 2022-23 campaign.
And he was brilliant for the United States in the World Cup (red card controversies aside), scoring three goals in four games. Now he'll be returning to the Premier League as a part of Everton's revamped attack after the club also reportedly agreed to bring back Jack Grealish on a season-long loan and reportedly came to an agreement to sell winger Iliman Ndiaye to Manchester City.
Tyrique George and Brennan Johnson have also been added out wide this summer.
