New LeBron James Rumors on NBA Teams Sending Voice Notes to Star Amid Free Agency Recruitment
Interested suitors are doing whatever they can to get LeBron James' attention.
On Thursday, ESPN's Shams Charania reported the "leading suitors" have sent James' agent, Rich Paul, voice notes which then make their way to the King. Notably, he listed the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, Golden State Warriors, Minnesota Timberwolves and Philadelphia 76ers when discussing the teams.

That teams are going through Paul and not speaking to James directly is fitting since the agent is the one who made headlines earlier in the free agency process when he appeared on the Game Over podcast with a whiteboard of potential landing spots and their selling points.
The Heat, Warriors, 76ers, Cavaliers, Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets were all included:
Charania has consistently reported the Cavaliers, Heat, 76ers and Warriors are all suitors, and Golden State legend Stephen Curry turned heads Wednesday when he talked about possibly teaming up with the King.
"I'd say more so I'm interested to just play golf with LeBron," Curry said at the American Century Championship golf tournament. "We'll handle the basketball stuff, but I want to see the golf LeBron free agent. He's out here really grinding on the game. But I'm sure we obviously would love to play together. I mean, hopefully it happens. But he's deserved the opportunity and the right to take his time with the decision."
Perhaps Curry should send his fellow future Hall of Famer a voice note since that is how some teams are communicating with him during this process.
Ultimately, everyone may be competing against the full-circle finish to his career that Cleveland would represent.
James is from Ohio, started his career on the Cavaliers and led the franchise to its only championship in 2016. He is friends with Cleveland assistant general manager Brandon Weems and could be the missing piece on a strong team that reached last season's Eastern Conference Finals.
NBA insiders Marc Stein and Jake Fischer also previously reported the Cavaliers were seen by some around the league as the "scenario to beat."
It's a safe assumption Cleveland is one of the teams sending those voice notes.
