Final: USA 108, Hungary 56

Team USA was in total control in their 52-point win over Hungary, trailing for just 19 seconds early in the first quarter.

The United States did just about everything right. They moved the ball quickly, scored efficiently inside, knocked down 12 three-pointers and defended everywhere at a high level.

Entering the game, Hungary's frontcourt of Dorka Juhász and Virag Takacs-Kiss was combining for nearly 30 points per game on 50 percent shooting. Yet, Team USA made them a complete non-factor, limiting the duo to only four points on 2-of-22 shooting (9%).

Rhyne Howard, what a pass

Rhyne Howard came up with the steal, then found Paige Bueckers on the other end with a beautiful skip pass in semi-transition.

Howard currently has 15 points, two assists and four steals in only 17 minutes.

End of the 3Q: USA 93, Hungary 47

Team USA has been unstoppable offensively, scoring on what feels like every possession. They have shot 24-of-37 from two (65%) and 11-of-20 from three (55%) through three quarters.

The United States have assisted on 27 of their 36 field-goals made, with just seven turnovers.

There's No Answer For Napheesa Collier

Napheesa Collier has done a little bit of everything today. She's up to 19 points on 8-of-11 from two and 1-of-2 from three in only 15 minutes of action.

And of course, her defense has been great, too. Just see this block rotating on her Minnesota teammate, Dorka Juhász.

Caitlin Clark from DEEP

Caitlin Clark got the switch against 6'5" Dorka Juhász and then drilled a deep step-back three right in her face.

The Indiana Fever duo of Aliyah Boston and Clark combined 11 points in the first half on 3-of-4 shooting from beyond the arc.

Halftime: USA 59, Hungary 30

Hungary scored 18 points in the second quarter, but it wasn't enough to cut into Team USA's lead, which has grown to 29 points at the break.

The United States has made things really difficult for Hungary offensively by forcing their ball-handlers to see two defenders on every ball screen and rotating quickly on the weak side. Hungary doesn't have the ball-handling or burst to turn the corner in these situations, making it hard to create quality passing windows to get the ball to their bigs inside.

Ten players have logged minutes for Team USA, and all of them scored in the first half. Napheesa Collier leads the way with 10 points, while Jackie Young is right behind her with eight on 4-of-4 shooting from two.

Caitlin Clark & Angel Reese Pick-and-Roll

Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese have played really well together for Team USA, with Clark assisting on all three of Reese's field-goals in the first half.

In the closing seconds of the first quarter, Clark came off a pick-and-roll and found Reese at the rim, where she finished over Dorka Juhász. Then, a few minutes later, Clark connected with Reese in transition, and again, out of a ball screen.

End of the 1Q: USA 36, Hungary 12

Team USA played their best quarter of the World Cup to this point, scoring 36 points on 11-of-16 shooting from two and 3-of-3 from three while holding Hungary to just 12 points.

Napheesa Collier has been dominant, leading all scorers with 10 points on 5-of-6 shooting from the field.

Hungary can't get anything going offensively against a team with this much size and athleticism. They have twice as many turnovers (8) as field goals made (4).

Aliyah Boston Keeps Hitting Threes 🎯

A year ago, Aliyah Boston made just six three-pointers all season with the Indiana Fever.

She's already made four in this World Cup, including two in her first four minutes off the bench in today's quarterfinal against Hungary.

Team USA Can't Be Stopped

Team USA has jumped out to an early six-point lead, scoring 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting (all two-pointers) through the first four minutes.

Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart have been dominant from the mid-range early, combining for nine of the United States' first 13 points.

No Starting Lineup Changes For Team USA

Team USA head coach Kara Lawson is running back the same starting lineup for a fourth straight game:

Chelsea Gray, Jackie Young, Kahleah Copper, Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart.
