College Football Playoff Prediction Series: Week Two
Last week introduced the new College Football Playoff Predictions Series. After losses by Ohio State and Oklahoma State, there has been considerable movement in each playoff proposal.
Ohio State has been replaced by Alabama in the four-team playoff, California in the eight-team playoff and Penn State in every other proposal. The Buckeyes managed to stay in the two- and 16-team playoff proposals.
Oklahoma State has been replaced by LSU in most playoff proposals, Boise State in the eight-team playoff proposal, and by the Oklahoma Sooners in the regional 16-team playoff proposal.
Georgia Tech has surpassed Virginia Tech as the top ACC team and Houston has likewise replaced East Carolina. Also of note is that Boise State passed BYU as the top mid-major team.
Below you will notice the inclusion of two new proposals from last week. The current BCS two-team playoff is included, as well as a national 16-team playoff to compete with the regional 16-team playoff. The 16 Team playoff garnered the greatest amount of votes last week.
The Poll
If you have proposals that you'd like displayed next week, then link to them or describe them in the comments section. Up to two may be added for each new iteration of this series.
Each week there will also be a poll for which proposals makes the most sense. The playoff with the least amount of support may not appear next week, at my discretion.
